Que? There are 4 on the Bench who could have replaced Phillips, Nasser, Petrasso, Washington and Luongo. All look better alternatives than Mackie to me, but maybe he's been ripping the pitch up at Harlington this week.
I am pleased that Hill has not been "dropped". He will probably be replaced during the match. A good motivational decision by JFH in my opinion.
But the fact JFH chose Mackie, says he thinks that Mackie is first choice replacement for Phillips . Personally I would have preferred to see Petrasso.
In an away match at Preston.....I may have taken the decision to start with the high energy carthorse Mackie....before brining on a racehorse. Nasser or Petrusso later
