Yeah ... how dare the 11 year old get within 8 lengths of Vatour! It's a travesty I tell you :D

Scoop 6/Lucky 63:

1:30 - Black Hercules 5/1
2:10 - Mall Dini 16/1
2:50 - Vautour evens
3:30 - Thistlecrack 5/4
4:10 - Fingal Bay 9/1
5:30 - Cause of Causes 6/1

Also on Taglietelle 16/1 Ante Post so reverse fc with Mall Dini in that one. Need Limini to win to complete the treble, took one of Paddy Powers countdown to Cheltenham offers (small Alert coming Bob), Douvan (Arkle), Annie Power (CH), Limini (Mares Novice) 10/1, only got £5 on it because at the time i wan't sure Annie would run in CH and didn't want to risk much after Faugheen ****ed up most of my other Ante Post bets! And like most other people i've done the 'obvious' Vautour/Thistlecrack/Limini treble aswell.

Placepot:

1:30 - Black Hercules/Zabana
2:10 - Mall Dini/Our Kaempfer/Taglietelle
2:50 - Vautour
3:30 - Thistelcrack
4:10 - Fingal Bay/Little Jon
4:50 - Limini

12 lines @ 25p = £3.00

Only did 10p ew lucky 63 on the above but i must have Paddy Power nervous, they'r eoffering me £258 cashout already!

Thistlecrack next and I have rarely fallen for a horse as much as I have fallen for this guy. I was lucky to see his hurdles debut at Wincanton in January last year where he won an average race on the bit. He was then turned out really quickly at Cheltenham and disappointed, can't really say why to this day - possibly too soon? Then came the race where I really thought this guy is special - a novices hurdle at Ascot where Ruby Walsh rode him. He looked absolutely cooked 4 out, Ruby in last pushing him along, but he started to stay on and absolutely flew up the straight to win going away. He then went for the Imperial Cup, where he ran OK but I already thought he needed further. He skipped Cheltenham and went for the Sefton over 3 miles and I had a good bet on him that day at 25/1. The rest is history. He got mugged in Ireland and then has gone from strength to strength this season.

My lasting memory is after the Cleeve hurdle, when they interviewed Colin Tizzard. Now Colin has been around the block and knows his horses, including Cue Card, but after the Cleeve he was literally speechless. Couldn't describe what he had just seen.

I've already won plenty on this lad and have my 20/1 ante post ticket for today, but I really just hope he comes out and demolishes his field and shows what an awesome horse he is. I just want to see Colin Tizzard speechless again.
