So does that mean as from next season the upper west will be mothballed and used as a overflow. The away fans will stay where they are next season, they won't be moved to the West Upper for at least a season or two.

So really the club are closing West upper, probably, due to reduced fan numbers??
I was playing devils advocate there.
In my personal opinion we should be getting as many kids in as possible and this certainly isn't the way to do it.
I would stipulate that discounted kids passes could only be bought with an adult pass, I would then have dedicated turnstiles for kids passes which could easily be monitored by a steward.
That way no adult can buy a kids pass on the cheap, they'd have to pay for an adult pass as well and no adult would get away with using a kids pass on the turnstile.
The revenue per seat next season will be lower than is being generated now (that's not what should be generated now, that's what is being generated now), so even with everyone paying what they should, there'll be no revenue increase.
Like Happy ?I think some are starting to see a little of what pissed so many of us off before.
I think some others will never see it as long as they've a hole in their arse.
Vice chairman Ehab Allam said: "For too long, the price of football in this country has been much too high. This new scheme will at least ensure the same cannot be said of Hull."
WTF?!? He's forgotten our name.
Either that or he's bought out Adam Pearson.
How many season pass holders are there in West Upper to be moved??
Upper wests the best view imoThat's the whole point of moving them up there, there'd be a moving wall on the concourse and the away end would be amended to fit the requirements for each game. There'll be a standard 2,400ish for most games, but if they don't need them there'll be more for home fans and for cup games they'd get the whole thing.
Sure!I'm not reading all these. Can i have a summary.
On the adults using kids/oap passes. Been going on years and years. Turnstile staff used to turn a blind eye/get a bit of a threat if they said owt. So who cares.
Away games are checking tickets anarl now, Couple a lads i know got caught doing it this season.
Seems to me this has several positives.
Clears out the West Upper and fills up the lower bowl to improve the atmosphere (potentially). The empty West Upper will also make it ready for moving the away fans up there in a few seasons time (although I'm not sure that'll be good for the atmosphere).
Ticket savings for most.
Other discounts.
Sure!
Burns is a **** and announced **** he shouldn't have.
We don't have the full version of the prices yet.
The majority of people will be paying less.
We still don't have the full version regarding concessions etc.
Apparently the ground will be empty due to people who've happily paid over the odds for donkeys years quitting because of the Allams. Charging less.
It's new, for the UK, it's scary and moving seats is akin to slapping someone in the face, ****ting on their lawn and shagging their missus.
He was talking about City last week.He said last week that £30 wasn't enough.
Make up your mind Ehab
How would people from the West Upper moving and sitting them amongst people who occasionally make some noise where they will complain to the stewards about anyone standing up or interupting their discussions by getting behind the team improve the already poor atmosphere?
2,500 thousand away fans all getting behind the away team in the West Upper would make any away team think they were playing at home even more than happens now. Not that this is likely to happen given the police and SAG.
