Does Roland Duchâtelet refer to himself in the third person quite often?

If this is not indeed a hoax, CAFCOfficial always seem to follow these statements with massive social media campaigns (which has not been done), it seems highly unfinished, the protests need to step up even more!

    I've created a new banner...

I am dumbstruck by this. To begin with, it seemed like a silly hack, and not in the same league as the Companies House incident when Katrien got sacked. But no, it's being backed up by people in the club. Roland has finally seen what KM has been concealing from him, and has reacted with a drunken diatribe. Fantastic. ITV have already picked this up. Humiliation beckons. I'd love to know how the new head of comms feels now.

Just found this on CL, taken from whatever blog A2C goes to now. Do you think someone hacked his brain or is he the finest WUM in fan forum history?

    Will Baroni leave? Probably

Is this a parting shot by squirrel face? Probably

Is this the beginning of the end for Duchatelet? Hopefully

I am more optimistic on getting a season ticket next season, giving money to somebody else.

Someone was a wee bit pissed when they read Roly's response and forgot the English language

I have read the new statement and see that I should be ashamed of my previous behaviour towards the owner and his excellent Chief Executive. I will immediately order a season ticket for 2016-17 and go to the club shop and order a club shirt with ‘MEIRE’ on the back.

My sincerest apologies to Miss Meire for any offence previously caused.

I also do feel for the new head of comms, in this instance. I work in the very same industry as she's come from and have similar role, albeit in a higher position, and amount of times you have to deal with stubborn clients.

Them: "I want you to post this verbatim"
Me: "Really don't think that's a good idea, it's not got the emotional appeal that your overall comms objectives is aiming for. May I suggest something more subtle instead"
Them: "Look, I said post it... It's come from the big boss, and it's what he wants" Cc'd in company COO
Me: "Okay, it's done" (now May God have mercy on your mortal soul).

Well they got a little slated in the press; they ended up taking it down and I got a "okay, you were right type of email," Mel's probably not part of the problem. Amount she earns, she probably wants to do her job, collect her monthly wage packet, go home, shag her partner, and have a life as this agro is not worth the wage (and subsequently arguing with the boss)...

It's made the national press - and not in a good way for the club. The sun have made mention of it being bizarre, and that it is an attack on fans <ok>

As The Sun once said of Tony Blair in a front page headline - RATTLED

The content of the statement is risible, and the standard of the pigeon-English is even worse.

There is one positive, however. Duchatelet and Meire now clearly understand that we hate them.

I can't even find the humor within the statement.

He's starting a war with fans. Oddly - it was apparently more in response to the non existent season ticket renewal. Way to get them back, Roland.

In case you didn't know, weird means unique. Maybe the peevish tone of the statement is because they have to face an FA enquiry. Good. That means there will be more beach balls at the next home game. The eyes of the football nation are turning towards you, Roland, and you don't like it. You'd rather be tucked away over the sea in your office where no-one can see you. Leave your incompetent stooges to take all the flak, that's more your style. But the Belgian press are on to you now, and the FA, and we're not giving up either.

Malcolm Clark talking about charlton on SSN now.

He's the football supporters group chairman. He basically mentions he feels it's not something we want to don(disrupt the game) but that we must feel as if we have no other avenue open to us - and mentions it being intelligent.

    Someone gets it.

The Sun online calls it "hideous".
What a ham-fisted move to actually remind everybody of the car-crash Dublin interview like this. It comes across that the club have declared war on the fans, and that is a real news story.

That's because he can see the Club losing £between £9m and £12m on the Current Account (P&L) in L1 and he is obviously not happy about this especially when the fans are removing their money by not buying season tickets!

Of corse - I think they took Monday to see what sales were made on Sunday for season ticket renewals, figures presented on Tuesday and he's reacted.

Even stranger is the fact this statement hasn't been made public by any of the 4 official social media accounts the club has. It's as if he wanted to say something, but not ''announce'' it.

The more I look at this statement the more it looks like the work of our CEO, and there must be doubts about her emotional state. She has such a unique (weird) gift for putting her foot in it that surely it must be her work?

I initially thought it was her work - it certainly read like she speaks. But Louis Mendez said he saw the article arrive on the laptop it was published from, and that it was definitely RD's work.

I guess this is us ''getting to know each other''.

OK I'll accept that, but the Meire quote at the bottom reads as though it is part of the statement, especially to anyone who hasn't seen the Dublin interview. It makes the whole thing seem like the ravings of a moron.
