A "revolutionary" membership scheme akin to a loyalty card will replace season tickets with adults set to save around £240 per year - D Burns
Come on City Man, where's that never ending optimism that you usually spew when we play like a set of ****ers? We could do with a laugh?
Well that was fun. Really enjoyed watching that. Now I'm off to drown myself in vodka and cry whilst listening to Massive Attack.
Another flat home performance . The team seems to lack energy at the moment -we don't attack at pace despite having pace on the flanks and in the middle. What was Mac doing flapping in the first half? No good going on at Clucas and Huddlestone for not getting the ball forwards as Diame and Abel were too often static and didn't make themselves available or demand the ball. Good teams pass and move - too often in recent games we have passed and stood still and from a fans perspective it sometimes seems that our forwards aren't working to try and lose their markers or find space. Unless we pick up in the run in, its the play offs at best for us.
Let's face it, this is just another poor result and disappointing game-plan from the manager. When is he going to be held to account for his tactics, his players, his results?
What happened to the Robertson runs? Even with many of the better results this season the players have only performed for a small part of the game, normally a stretch in the second half. If Bruce puts up with that then you end up getting games with virtually nothing all game. Prima donnas think they can perform when they want and keep their place.
Yes - SB reckoned we played well 1st half and went behind to a wonder goal. Said we didn't deserve to lose the game but despite the equalizer we were tense and have to handle the pressure better than we have done in the last 3 or 4 home games. He said he is disappointed because over those games we have had a great opportunity to capitalize on the position we are in,but have failed to do so.
The pace of play (or lack of it) is killing me. It is awful, but our management team are all primarily defenders or defensive midfielders. Who is coaching the attacking side of the game? We seem to lack ideas on almost all attacking options. I listened to the Bruce interview where he described our first half as good!! Not sure what he was watching? First half was simply a repeat of the MK Dons game - either half.
Thanks tigerrev Same bullshit then, brucey your side haven't been able to handle the pressure of big games for nearly 2 years
Thing is, everyone can shrug their shoulders and say "Oh well it was a class strike from them" and we can shrug in other games and say "Oh well our shot hit the post and didn't go in, on another day we win" and in other games "Oh well the ref missed the handball, it's just one of those things". But we need to be making our own luck and going for games a lot more than we are. These ****ty results happen to us far too often, and if not for an unlikely Aluko goal we'd have lost to yet another 'unlucky' goal, like the Brum one, and like a lot of the games we lost last season.
Just a rough guess and no offence Walter, but I would say that Mr Clough knew more about football management than you.
