http://mobile.cafc.co.uk/news/article/statement-3009419.aspx Rigggggght - does anyone see the point of it? I feel this is KM's doing - has her arrogance and patronizing tone to it. I feel insulted reading it. Hope I'm not being OTT?
I'm left confused by it - what is the statement? For us to shut up? The point about the club being easier to sell in league one is wrong - who ******* signed the crap and hired the crap that has all but lead us there? Are we really being blamed? Or am I reading this wrong. It's left a bitter taste in my mouth personally.
Although certain individuals tell you it does not happen, in recent weeks Roland Duchatelet has met the fans, the CEO has met with several different groups of fans and the communications team have attended several fans meetings. We will continue these meetings and constructive dialogue with fans. Read more at http://www.cafc.co.uk/news/article/statement-3009419.aspx#bpifqhp34k7RgiIF.99 Constructive dialogue......................really! I'll give you constructive dialogue, f*** off back to Belgium.
He also implies buying a club isn't a quick process. Whilst true in most cases - his takeover of charlton was a confessed fast procedure. Just wish he'd sell it that quick. No wait, I wish he'd **** off even quicker.
Oh dear. I'm leaving my job soon so all my emails of late have had the same tone as this statement. I can sort of see their point but this will cause war. Also the claim that supporter unrest will lead directly to league one is startling; has he still not seen Makineok play?
I think it's an attempt at that. Shocking arrogance; clearly the sign of a dictatorial owner as there's no way others at the club would have agreed that this was a good idea. Murray should resign in protest now and try to regain a shred of dignity.
Every time they open their mouth they dig a bigger hole for themselves. I notice they did not put a name to who wrote this, regardless of what Louis says.
I know I've probably said this several times this season - but I've never felt so disillusioned. I want to do something as a personal protest but I've already returned my season ticket (no response either - despite a follow up reminding them they have a legal duty to do so). Every. Single. Person. In. Football. Can't. Be. Wrong. R. D. You ****head. Hate getting this wound up so late.
I'm enjoying that people on Charlton Life and Twitter are suggesting someone should tell the FA that RD isn't a Fit and Proper person... Oh the irony.
7 from the last 9, you just know we're going to miraculously stay up and they will give us the biggest two fingers in history. I so pray we go down to get these clowns out, staying up is not an option.
The reaction then was ridiculous - now the irony makes it somewhat funny. Richard Hunt owed you an apology then, more so now. I assume this is a reaction to his request for a meeting - he's probably hitting that pillow now patting himself on the back. Will count player sales to help him sleep.
6,400 views on Charlton Life already, this is going to run and run. I must remember to take my whistle to Hillsborough.
Dear Fans, Last Sunday, some individuals did not come to The Valley to watch the game and support the team, but came to create disorder on the pitch and interfere with the players and the game. Disorder which is, allegedly, needed to drive change in ownership and management. Whom would they expect the club to be sold to? How long would a sales process take? Is it easier to sell the club when it is in League One rather than Championship? Some individuals seem to want the club to fail. This is a confused approach, since following this logic leads to exactly the opposite of what we all want: staying in the Championship. Allegations regarding the CEO are misrepresented* and are continuously used as a method to discredit and fuel personal abuse, hatred and with a risk to personal safety. Although certain individuals tell you it does not happen, in recent weeks Roland Duchatelet has met the fans, the CEO has met with several different groups of fans and the communications team have attended several fans meetings. We will continue these meetings and constructive dialogue with fans. We have 9 games left in which we have to get 6 points more than our competitors. The team just got 7 points out of 3 games. We still have the chance to make it happen with the support of the fans until the very last game. We must believe it is still possible. Every football fan knows the 12th man is a crucial factor in the success on the pitch. *I think the difference is also because fans don't see themselves as customers and {…} they go to the restaurants with their families every week and they go to the cinema but if they aren't satisfied with the product will they go and scream to the people in charge of it? No they don't, but they do it with a football club and that's very weird (meaning unique) because they feel a sense of ownership of a football club and that's a really difficult balance of how you try and engage with fans and make them, incorporated into some of the decisions of the club, {…}. This is it copied in - just in case it miraculously disappears.
Richard **** is more apt. Reading CL, he makes Ben Hayes look like somebody you would like to share a pint with. Also regarding the statement saying "whom would we sell to" How about Peter Varney? They are very good at making themselves look silly.
