Leicester are a joy to watch - fullof the confidence that success brings. Newcastle are still in it, but they have a lot to do now.
Leicester so quick to close down, pressing, giving the oppo no time on the ball. Something every single team in the land could do given the right training and instructions. You may not have the fancy skills / mazy runs - but you can stop your opponents using theirs
Strangely Leicester became much more tentative in the second half and almost let Newcastle back into it. Good result at 1-0, but only just!
The lad Kanté is like having two good Alex Tetteys in your team at the same time. I know Mahrez is, or will be a candidate for POTS but imho, Kanté is not far behind. ( And Payet, for Wet Sham, but tonight is not about them )
Ronald Koeman highlighted his performance tonight in the Sky studio. He won't be unsung for very much longer. Takes so much pressure and workload off the back four
So so relieved when I got in last night, and saw that Leicester got the win. Had such a strong feeling for a 1-0 Newcastle. Also, I see Watford or Palace will be in the FA Cup Final! Fantastic. I think I hope it's Watford. A joy to watch at times this season, and I saw their game against Arsenal and they were brilliant. Totally Outplayed and subdued Arsenal at their own place. Great effort.
Today's MFW offering, in which the writer, Russell Saunders, has a fully warranted pop at all the club-slagger-offers out there. Embarrassing - no. Vexatious - what the fook does that even mean? http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...ount-to-ten-and-choose-your-words-carefully/?
Just saw this on twitter. Point 2 made my eyes widen in eager anticipation a little. please log in to view this image
Hi bors, if I was vexed I would be irritated; dumb I would be speechless. I would opt for "unachieved" because we have not set out to achieve our main object : to be in a position of safety already for next season.
No great surprise about this. One thing for sure - his C.V. looked a lot healthier when he left Celtic than it does now!! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/03/15/neil-lennon-leaves-bolton/
I was really keen for Lennon to come here back then. Just shows how wrong you can be, and why i never moan about what we have.
