No it isn't - the ad states "winnings paid in free bets" and no doubt you have to triple the turnover before withdrawing any winnings. So in the case of the "Mullins any winner 8/1 max stake a fiver" yes, you win your 40 quid but have to turnover 120 quid on your betting account before you can withdraw. Huge con trick.
I've done the 888 sport Min/Douvan double at 14/1 max £10 bet. Actual price double is paid cash (roughly £36) the rest in free bets
It's quite easy to get round that, just lay the exact same bet on the exchange to turnover the free bets, I expect to make a grand over the 4 days without risking a penny.
Coral sent me an email last week restricting my account, so I had to leave in protest. Skybet gave me a couple of free bets and money back if my horse doesn't win the opener every day this week. Also, best odds guarantee.
Skybet and Stan James are the only two online accounts I can get on with for a proper amount these days, so I'm pretty much reduced to using them and betfair. The value isn't really with betfair anymore, and the staff in shops have zero training and zero clue, so I find the whole thing too much trouble nowadays. I wanted to have a few bets this week but if I can't get the value I feel like I'm being ripped off before a horse has gone to post. Oh, and Hills claiming this week that they won't be beaten on price, but VVM was even money the minute the shops opened, while skybet were still going 11/10.
Yes, I realise that robbie thanks but I can't be bothered with one of those at the moment. I might switch to satellite broadband at some stage and do it then; but it won't be so I can bet (unless it's money for nothing ).
