    Well, here goes.
My last 2 'Match Day Threads' have resulted in a 1-0 home win - WHAT would we give for that result today with the opposition being the ones to concede a 'soft goal'????
Kick off in just over 2 hours and COYY.

Starting 11 - Ruddy; Martin (c), Bennett, Klose, Olsson; Howson, O'Neil; Redmond, Hoolahan, Jarvis; Bamford.

With the exception of Olsson - BRILLIANT team selection!!!

Subs - Rudd, Bassong, Mbokani, Jerome, Dorrans, Mulumbu, Pinto

So, Bamford gets the start that I and a few others have been calling for - don't let me down, BamBam <yikes>

Brady still injured then. Olson better have his best game on.

Naismith has been away with the fairies lately so I'm pleased with this

Still no Vadis on the bench either. Looking forward to seeing what Hoolahan and Bamford can create

    Can't see Bamford doing much.

Really strange to make the 12 minutes mark without conceding.

We wouldn't have gotten that free-kick.

Well he's tracked back and won the ball back a few times so he's already made more of contribution than the normal strIkers

Man City are knocking it about with ease. Can't see us holding them off for much longer. We have defended alright, but We can't contain them like this for much longer. They haven't broken sweat yet, we are trying to hassle them and chase shadows.

Not sure that's fair, Jerome does much more than his fair share of the defending than most., problem is he can''t seem to take his chances.

    Bloody hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just had a section of about 5 minutes where we held the ball and actually passed it to players feet!! I'm stunned!

Interesting stat - RM playing his 120th PL game for City today, overtaking Mark Bowen's record of 119 - yet not half the player Bowen was.
