The tiredness has finally caught up with our squad. It was always going to be a big ask to get pass a team that is clearly far better than this competition, and which is undoubtedly the favourite to go on and win it. This Dortmund side would have taken apart any of the teams below us, especially the likes of Arsenal and United, both of which sides have crumbled shamelessly in the face of strong European opposition. I think my overall feeling about going out of the competition will be one of relief. The lads will have learned from this experience, and now know, if they didn't already, that they are far from being the finished article, and that a lot more work is needed to be able to stand among Europe's elites. They can use the time to up their game and secure that title. As for Dortmund, they are a class side, and so no shame being beaten by them.
