theres a wealth of info that a scout should be seeing. look at the guys getting off team bus, what does he do in the tunnel, can you get to open training sessions, watch warm ups, how does he interact with team, crowd etc.
Thats all outside the 90mins a scout might see.
But it all hints at character. guys who are all about themselves have no place at LFC. This is what i was aghast at rodgers even considering balotelli.
Since you memory is poor, Rodgers ruled out Balotelli as strongly as he could. Then the committee bought him anyway so he did the best he could.
