Tjaronn Chery’s first-half strike was his third goal in his last five games for QPR

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink earned just his fourth win 18 games as QPR boss as a below-par Derby were brushed aside.

Tjaronn Chery showed great technique to convert a 24th-minute James Perch cross for his third goal in his last five games for a deserved half-time lead.

The Rams had barely threatened but improved on the resumption and substitute Darren Bent forced a good save from keeper Alex Smithies.

But the hosts sealed victory late on through Gabriele Angella's strike.

This board is quick enough to hammer the manager when we're ****. Hopefully he gets some credit tonight.

Absolutely.
As you said earlier, I think he picked the strongest available team tonight.
I won't complain if he does the same on Saturday.
Faurlin and Henry are our strongest midfield two when we play 4-2-3-1 imo.

Great result. Shows what we're capable of. Getting ahead, holding it together, consolidating with a second and seeing the game out. Well done to all the team and management. Just need to follow it up now and show some consistency.

I will be curious to hear first hand accounts of how Clint made out - definitely no shirker from duty.

Good performance.

Great to meet up with QPR999 et al at the Coningham.

Probably the ideal game for him up against Martin. Same also with Polter up against Sheckell and Keogh, a bit of rough and tumble at both ends......

10 pts if Ipswich hold onto their lead at Bolton (and Ipswich has a game in hand).

GOAL (Dobbie)
Bolton 2-2 Ipswich

And substitute Stephen Dobbie drills the ball home. Bolton will remain bottom, but a bit of fighting spirit shown coming from 2-0 down.
QPR 9 points off the play off positions!
