I didn't backtrack on bringing Abel on, again would love you to pull up the quote suggesting so. Funny how I've asked you to bring up quotes several times in this argument and you've not done so at any point...

I'll repeat, you're pathetic. Runs out of argument, has to go and just accuse the person of supporting the other team because he hasn't got rose tinted glasses on.

Losing 1 0 or 4 0 was virtually irrelevant in our situation.
A few squad players had a good run out and hopefully no injuries.
As i said earlier it could still be a good night

How the hell do I have rose tinted glasses on for being critical of hull for not playing attacking football? Answer me that oh Wise Quill.

Agree !!! Bruce wasnt interested in this game at all.
Its starting to look like one automatic promotion place up for grabs.
Not having a goalscorer is a serious hinderance

No, you have rose tinted glasses mate because you can't see the difference between Arsenal and Hull City. You seem to be (or at least, the way you put yourself across) as someone who thinks they are equal.

How the hell do I support Arsenal if I can see the clear difference in quality between a team in the division above us, challenging for the title and can accept when a better team than us wins?
Answer me that oh wise Al.

But don't forget the Bruce Mantra… 'you're only as good as your strikers'…. and thats why Burnley are where they are and are doing what they're doing.

I'm not so sure. He reminds me of Deeney in some respects with his style of play.

I'm pleased we didn't continue our firm interest with a firm bid, as instead we signed the red hot Norwegian dynamo Diomande - £1.7m well spent.

I'll need to see more of Dio in the league to make a judgement, I thought he did well in the cup games.

We really don't play to our striker's strengths though, Savage (****) was saying we should be playing balls over the top to him but instead we kept persisting with the crosses. We don't play to Abel's strengths either, we should be asking him how he wants it playing, instead of telling him how he's gonna get it.

How the **** do I think we're equal? Are you brain dead? Do you understand the difference between a full strength arsenal side and what they put out? Do you understand we lost 4-0 despite sitting back and defending? Do you understand Leicester have shown that confidence and not showing your opposition undue respect can win you games? And do you understand if we'd gone toe to toe with them and lost, say, 6-2 we'd A) Have scored some goals to give some players some confidence and B) been no worse off than we are now?

Do you understand that suggesting we pressure them and exploit their weaknesses is not akin to saying we're on paper as good as arsenal, but is instead saying a side without a win in 5 who look mentally shot are there for the taking for a morale boosting win if only we have the balls to try and put them on the back foot?

Cup final did we sit back and try and defend or did we go out and try to punch them on the nose? That game we had huddlestone, Quinn, elmo, Bruce, and others starting who are not better than what we had tonight.

Do you actually understand the notion of not letting an opponent dictate how you play but instead sticking to your strengths and backing yourself to win at home as we did against other premier league sides this season?
 
It's so incredibly easy in hindsight to say 'we should've signed <insert name here>', isn't it?

The only one we really missed out on was Austin, because the deal WAS done.
 
Gray would be hopeless in our team. He'd be nowhere close to his current tally unless he magically grew a foot taller and put on some muscle.
