Be interesting to see where Kenny plays him. He should take Dirk's place in the side if we're basing it on form. He can play as a wide forward like in a 4-2-3-1, but he had his best season when playing in a central role. To be honest, given the fluidity and freedom that I think Kenny will eventually get the team to play with, I think him, Stevie/Raul and Maxi can interchange roles in the three behind Torres.

Im no Kopite but some of you Bitter fans make me laugh only worth 10 million plz he has been banging them in for fun and was easily one of the best players @ the WC till that handball incident. your just jealous cause you guys couldn't afford him http://www.breakingfootballnews.com...-united-unable-to-afford-30m-luis-suarez/3155

Luis Suarez has not signed for LFC, let alone agree personal terms. Torres' horrendous timing may influence his decision/**** up the deal.

huh? Care to elaborate?? The sale has been agreed and so have personal terms. All that's left is the medical!

"Suarez has not signed yet but has already agreed on personal terms. He'll take the plane to England tomorrow."

Alright, that should do.

Feel really sorry for Suarez. This should be his night but his arrival has been totally overshadowed.

Most of the time the medical is just a formality though. He's "as good as signed."

As for Torres; I imagine this is all useless speculation. He will not be joining Chelsea, this much I'm quite sure of. Whether he leaves or not in the Summer will depend on how we do for the rest of the season and who our manager is in the summer.

Am I right in thinking Suarez and Torres share the same agent? In that case the former will probably know more than us. I just cannot see Torres leaving three days before the transfer window, and especially to Chelsea with their ageing squad, well off the pace for league title and not guaranteed CL footie.
