Klopp is above Fergie's level, the only thing Fergie has over him is being in the game longer

Fergie benefitted from massive influence in the domestic compeitions, Man Utd's financial power on the back of massive debt. Consequently he was destroyed in Europe whenever he didn't have those advantages.

Van Gaal is probably better than Fergie in Europe TBF.

Yep, some people are better at cup competitions than they are in the long haul league <ok>

It was suggested that a match up between Fergie and Klopp would be great, I said it would be fairer with van Gaal, I then went on to explain why. Do you think Klopp is at Fergies level at the moment?

You will notice I compared Klopp to 2 managers from each of our clubs who had been poor during their tenure, I did not suggest Klopp would stay at that level for ever.
Klopp is already far better than Fergie was at the same stage- in every department.
Even though he's a Kraut and doesn't speaka da lingo properly he has far more wit and humour then Fergie could ever muster (though to be fair, Fergie doesn't know much English either).
Klopp charms the media rather than bullying them, and has a disarming honesty rather than a bludgeoning crassness.
And he has the advantage of not being a permanently enraged purple-nosed gargoyle. <ok>

What's he like at managing a football team?

Did ok in Germany (which is more of an achievement than doing ok in Haggisland).
Remains to be seen how well he'll do here, as we keep having to point out to all of you suffering from premature judgmentalism.

He also didn't need to spend £300m in 2 years to get them the same points tally as the previous manager ala LVG and Moyes. Lol

There are pictures of Suarez floating around <ok>

He can float? <yikes>

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy states: "There is an art to flying, or rather a knack. Its knack lies in learning to throw yourself at the ground and miss. ... Clearly, it is this second part, the missing, that presents the difficulties."

Not confident but you never know.

We need a 2 goal lead really going into the return leg.

We actually need to scores some goals against them for once.

I'm always realistic so I'll go 5-0 Liverpool.
