Interesting that many teams have had to deal with losing a man this weekend:

Best to worst:
Liverpool: losing by 1 when red card, win game
Man Utd: drawing when red card, ???
Arsenal: winning by 1 when red card, draw game
Everton: winning by 1 when red card, lose game

Pardew saying Benteke 'bought the penalty'.............admits there was contact but Benteke 'bought the penalty' <doh>

most strikers buy penalties <laugh> they feel contact they go.

if one of his players had done that he would be praising them for buying the fecking pen and giving his team the 3 pts.

bad loser syndrome <laugh>

When I saw Mata's first yellow I thought " I hope he gets another and goes off", though I wasn't expecting it quite so soon, tbh. <laugh>
It's not just because he's a Utd player, though obviously that helps, but because I hate those stupid "professional" fouls and other idiotic trivialities that disrupt a game and a single yellow (in a game) doesn't seem enough.
The same for pulling your shirt off after scoring. FFS ,why?

Yep, the FA should just make taking off your shirt a flat £100,000 fine or soemthing for misconduct/breach of contract with sponsors. What the actual **** does it have to do with professional fouls?

If the player wants to pay the fine, their decision.

I wish there wasn't any contact whatsoever - would have been so funny if it was a blatant dive, just to piss Pardew off even more.

interesting point astro.

weirdly i never looked at it like that before, what the actual **** does it have to do with professional fouls, you are just damn happy after scoring a goal, so to be booked for taking your shirt off seems stupid.

not the refs fault, its the ******ed authorities rules and just to keep sponsors happy.

Henry summed it up well when he said nothing in the rules state forward has to stay on his feet. Defender doesn't win the ball, slides in and makes contact with standing foot.... Not going to see many more clear cut pens.

Ref has [HASHTAG]#bottled[/HASHTAG] that

All the ball, and ref unsighted anyway
