If I'd known we were including temporary/caretaker appointments I'd have included Eric Black and kevin ball. The number of managers wasn't the point though. Just pointing out that all fans who are struggling have a go at their managers, whether that is teams perceived to be struggling to qualify for the Champions League, Being in the top ten, or fighting relegation like our two clubs manage to do all too often. Not exactly meltdown material. We're crap and we know we're crap. Nobody on our board is arguing that we aren't exactly where we deserve to be.

....and just to be pedantic (cos I know you enjoy that) Kinnear left his role of manager two months before Bruce was appointed, and Shearer left one month before Bruce was appointed.
They took a few games while the next manager was installed, yours were given charge until the end of the season, big difference between tiding over until an imminent appointment comes in and being given the task to see out the season with relegation battles.
