Same with us against Swansea last night, we hit the woodwork 3 times. Also against Soton at home, we battered them but Forster had the game of his life. Two games, that on another day we would have got 6 points from, but ultimately we only got 1. At the end of the day it's only the points on the board that count.

... very true ... and in light of Wednesday night's results the one gained against West Brom may well come in very handy <laugh>

Any points on the board are handy, especially when the two teams below you have just dropped 3 each.

I agree that there will be several more twists and turns ... but if you didn't watch our game against West Brom on Tuesday you might well be misled by the scoreline ... attacking wise it was one of our best performances of the season .. but for the woodwork, some cracking saves by Foster and a fair dollop of good fortune, West Brom might have taken a 4-1 5-1 hammering ... their equaliser came from a rather silly hand-ball by Mahrez that led to Craig Gardner getting the opportunity to do what he does best ... but West Brom were clinging on for the rest of the game ... fair play they managed it ... but we are not playing like a team suffering from nerves by any means ...

Tough game on Saturday away at Watford mind ... they must still be bemused as to how they didn't come away from Old Trafford with a win, never mind losing ...

I didn't watch the game, but fair play to you if you're not feeling the nerves. If you manage to play fearless until the end of the season, then the title is yours...

Fearless was the slogan used during our run last season and would be appropriate now. We haven't really looked back for the last year so if we can keep it up and find a way to put away the lower sides who sit back, we will be hard to catch. All ifs and buts though

This will be your biggest issue. I think the general defensive standard of the lower teams is good, and even the bigger sides find it hard to break them down. Our team is mentally the opposite to yours. They are fairly fragile and as evidenced this season, they've gone from good to bad in the space of one game. Even our player Sanchez has pointed this out, saying the players don't believe they can win the title. Pretty clear to me after our recent two losses.

But the season's unpredictability will probably continue to the very end. The Arsenal v Spurs game will be very telling, not only as the result affects all three teams, but it also shows the mental mind frame of the two challenging clubs. Spurs should really win when you take general form and play into account, but you never know if the pressure will suddenly creeps up for them. They have a history of imploding from favourable situations and I won't discount it this Saturday.

I think most Spurs fans fear that as well.

They might have a different manager and players but it's still the Spurs. There is something about them that makes them randomly implode during any given season. It's a mystery....
Rather than implosion, we looked out on our feet at West Ham. 3 weeks ago I would only see a Spurs win, tomorrow I am not so sure.

We all have our fears but let's not get ours confused with theirs.

We lost to West Ham at their place by the only goal, not against a weakened Swansea at home having been 1-0 up. Our loss ended a 6 game winning run; 28 points out of 36 in the last 12 games. Theirs confirmed 3 wins in 2 months realising 21 points out of 36 and only 12 in their last 24. We're on the up under London's manager of the year with the best young players in the country. Their manager is under-performing and under-fire and without Bellerin their young players' performances resemble the manager's.

One club is choking, the other's just clearing its throat to spit.

Those are fighting words, let's see if you can back those up this Saturday. But in the corner of your mind you're thinking another implosion could be on the cards. It's in your DNA mate, its what you do best. IMPLOSION!!!!!!

Look at all familiar?

Hold on just a minute... Is that Lazarus bloke, an Arsenal fan, really laughing because a side chokes towards the end of a season?

He's probably had his username changed from Lozenge, which is what Arsenal must need after all these years.

Just listening to 5 live and they are talking about Newcastle. Steve mclaren was interviewed and the reporter asked him what the problem are at Newcastle, mclaren responded. 'Not scoring goals and not keeping clean sheets' <laugh>

Watching the Dortmund Bayern game and the technical quality of this game is on a different planet to what we saw between us and Spurs.

Leicester 1-0 up, if it stays like this, then everyone can finally quit talking about the title.

We have 2 wins out of 9, and yet we're gonna make up an 8 point gap, and go on a good run to extend that gap, with only 9 games to go?
