Just had a quick skeg on the club site seems we've got loads unsold. Very disappointing. 26 quid and a tenner for U18's against a vulnerable Arsenal side under floodlights. Could be one of the greatest Cup nights we've ever had and we arent sold out yet if at all. 35.000 stadium my arse.
Good turn out to see the ressies! The FA Cup irrespective of what anyone says has been devalued. With a few more first teamers, should we get through you''ll see more for the game against Watford. Shame really, the FA Cup Final when we were there a couple of years back was one day I thought I would never see and one of the best days in our history
What a club like ours have fans blase about the FA Cup in a game against one of the giants of the game?? GTF Its pathetic. If we announced we were playing a full U18 side gainst them it should still be a sell out.
This level of support is typical for the area and not particularly un- expected. The usual low incomes excuse could be made but there are more than enough potential supporters in Hull and The East Riding who can well afford to fully support the club.
The fans treat it the same way Steve Bruce does. If he put out a strong first team we'd attract our usual crowd of around 16k.
Arsenal have sold thier allocation out. Did they get 3,500 ? They didnt get beyond members to general sale.
Its still nearly £50 if youre taking a couplecofvkids with you. Then at home 4 days later then 3 days after that
Well if they didn't have a stupid ****ing kick off time they'd have sold one more. As it stands I can't go because my Mrs has a 2 hour meeting in Leeds starting at 3.30pm. 7pm - arseholes.
What an emotive crap response! Unless of course you have convinced few relatives and friends to join you who normally don't attend. No I thought not
City hadhad 26,000 for the reserves when Neil Franklin made his debut. Sunderland used to average 28,000 in the 1950s for reserve games when a lot of people worked on a Saturday morning and then went to a game.
