That's the one Frenchie. Originally written as a satire both on politicians like Robert Walpole, well known criminals and also on the conventions of the Italian opera. I think the writer, John Gay, thought it would sound more gritty without musical accompaniment but a score was more or less imposed on him at the last minute.
