Nothing mandatory whatsoever Sir Barney, please feel free to give your input on whichever races you fancy. That goes for everyone btw - nothing fascist about this
Incidentally, re the above mentioned Simon Crisford I see that his daughter has just got engaged to old boy Roger Charlton’s son! ‘Wiltshire Life’ (for which I am both the ‘racing correspondent’ and ‘agony aunt’) was full of the news. I’m sure she’s a lovely filly but I’d love to have seen the expression on Mr Charlton’s visage when this union was first mooted. He’s not a big fan of racing managers! Or ex ones come to that.
Excellent team. I look forward to you guys giving me at least two winners at the Festival. Get cracking, now!
At least Two! Two! I haven't heard optimism like that since the Captain of the Titanic stood on deck and declared, 'This vessel is unsinkable!' With Paddy Power the hot faves re this forum preview are none and one!
Oddy, Thursday evening I should be good to send you my write up Well, assuming it becomes any clearer as to who runs where
Based on the input I've had so far, this is going to be one enormous thread, so I am already thinking about options for splitting it up. The one I like most is 5 separate threads (1 each for Oscars, Tues, Weds, Thurs and Fri) but would this make everything a bit dispersed? We could go for 2 threads (Oscars, Mon, Tues plus Weds, Thurs). Or should I just put everything in 1 thread. Ah the agonies of choice. I bet Shakespeare often had the same problem .......................
Hi Oddy. Given that there's no private messaging option any more, can you give me your Email address to send my contribution?
Morning Tam, all you need to do is start a conversation with me using the little envelope symbol next to your username at the top right of your screen - see screenshot below: Simply click on "start a new conversation" and enter my name. In fact, skip that, I will start a conversation with you and you can simply respond
I did stick, and Beefy's is quite lengthy too. But I actually think this is worth doing well with some more in-depth views rather than just throwaway one-liners, so keep up the good work. This probably deserves an individual thread for each day
