Last nights results stretched the gap to Italy a bit more with a chance to stretch it further in the CL second legs and next round of the EL.

Likely we will have just 1 team in the CL and 1 in the EL by the time of the QF draws.
Italy will probably have just 1 in the EL if Lazio get past Sparta Prague.

Obviously Liverpool v Man Utd is hugh, especially for the fans those clubs. But as neutrals go, Dortmund v Spurs is the bigger game.
i thought at start of season that Spurs would do well this year and the more i see the more i expect a very high PL finish, though the EL plus going for title will be too much i imagine,

Pool-utd is a much bigger game but spuds-Dortmund is the better tie in terms of current quality. That might of been what he meant tbf.
