Wow I have been beaten on doing a write up / prediction - I was going to use the headline " to Hull and back " Can we make it 17/17 on a Tuesday? Doubt it! 2-0 Hull and comfortable at that for me. Nuff said.
The following days headline will surely be something ike "Town slump to crushing home defeat" This is a banker away win, 3 or 4 nil to hull Nuff said
The realist says Hull 3-0 drubbing, the ever Ipswich Blue passionate still loyal fan say 1-0 in breathtakingly dizzy turn-around trad Tuesday performance! Did I write that?
Morning all, you're welcome to pop on our match day thread should you wish... http://www.not606.com/threads/ipswich-v-hull-city.323909/
In the EADT today MM says he wants all Town supporters to turn up at Portman Rd with a positive attitude, does he really think that we follow Town all over the Country because we've nothing else to do? And will the supporters positive attitude be matched by the team playing with a positive attacking formation and attitude? All will be revealed later.
I generally expect a draw when Ipswich are involved but I think with Hull playing on Saturday and then again on Friday they won't fancy a long trip to Ipswich on a Tuesday night. So I'm going to predict another scrappy 2-1 win. We seem to be the championship version of a 'Cold and wet Tuesday night in Stoke'
Agree with you regards the demanding schedule, but the team that take's the field tonight against Ipswich, will bear no resemblance to the team at Arsenal, were we made 10 changes,I expect a tough match tonight, fingers crossed we come away with the points
The team flew down yesterday so they should be well rested? On the other hand all your lads may have been on the nest all night & might be feeling a bit leggy? 0-2
Mick's latest comments really p me off,if I didn't have a Season Ticket I don't think I'd go to as many games. If he wants the fans back he has to realise he is in the entertainment business.
2-0 defeat. I know we've got an excellent record at home on Tuesdays, but Hull are one of those sides we never seem to do well against. The fact they're topping the table and shut out Arsenal at the weekend does not bode well either. I just checked, and we haven't beaten them since 2008, when Alan Lee scored! Some of those players who played that day: Stephen Bywater, Danny Simpson, Alan Quinn, and Velice Sumulikoski!
When I said we would end up mid table a few weeks ago, westy accused me of talking toot and said that was never gonna happen, think Preston are above us now and we are tenth (may be wrong there )
