Was a decent prospect about 4-5 years ago.

This is the first time I've heard his name in the best part of 3 years....make of that what you will.

Apparently he brings his own furniture with him

Some comments on various Celtic boards:

"every time he loses the ball, he spends more time fixing his hair and pulling up his socks than trying to win it back" / "couldn't cross his legs" / "the fact he was even offered a new contract tells you the ineptitude of our management" <yikes>

I think the fair-minded among them thought he had potential some while back, but this was never fulfilled, whether through constant injury problems or some other reason. I really hope this doesn't happen.

Pacey, direct flair type winger Works his a**e off, up and down the pitch, although in no way a defensive player. A Redmond type. Although might take players on and get the the byline more. He is injury prone, but he is a raw talent who could improve a lot, if he can play a few games in a row without dieing.

Are these comments about the same player? That's cleared it up then.

Thank goodness those two posts don't contradict each other! <laugh>

I could reel off dozens more derogatory quotes from fans who've actually seen him play (when he's fit), so no idea where "works his arse off" comes from. I won't be unkind and post those too, suffice to say he appears to have been flattering to deceive for a few years now, and it's hard to find any Celtic fan who'd be sorry to see him go. <ok>
