Eastern Dragon 1.50 on a very lowly mark for new stable. Market interesting. Has notable C D form...tempted.
There is a horse making its debut in the Taunton bumper tomorrow that had I been just a little bit more "cash rich" last year I would have seriously liked a leg in. Lets see how he fares. ADMIRALS SECRET 14/1.
Drive on Locky looks interesting in the 2.30 at Taunton. Has been in poor form this winter but has moved yard and Jonny Farrelly may be able to get something out of him in a very weak race.
Did you buy a leg in that Daly dog in the end? Just that there's a poster on his forum called "Stick" that joined shortly after the shares were sold?
Came 2nd in the Henlow St Ledger in Dec - Here's the semi - won 8 out of 28 Open Races so far - not too shabby Quite slow out of the traps, but a trouble free run and he wins!!
Big Shoes 3/1 in the last at wolves - the dazzler rides on his handicap debut , had nuts removed as well .....
Hello, pilgrims. Nothing for me today re the horses who will be running round in circles, whilst being kicked in the belly and slapped on the rump, but I have taken the 4.2/1 re The Arsenal winning at home this evening. 4.2/1 for the Arsenal to win at home! As a Chav might say – 'Ave It! Good luck all.
Unlikely result that Barney hence the price -they couldn't score against Hull on sat - pretty sure the opposition tonight will - so arsenal will have to score at least twice ....
I trust that last comment applies to the beast rather than The Dazzler! Must admit this one also caught my eye. Handicap bow and stepped up 1.5 furlongs for it. You get the impression this one could run up a sequence as Chas Hills can’t have many horses perched on the lowly mark of 51! Lovely pictures of Mr Henderson on the front page and page 3 of the trade daily today, troops. He’s discussing his Cheltenham Festival squad in the paper today. Incidentally, money for Whisper in the ‘World Hurdle’ following the forum’s favourite being very positive re him. Final point. On Oddschecker do we think the ‘stay’ and ‘leave’ wagers, re the Referendum, will remain amongst the most popular bets on that betting comparison website’s homepage for the next 4 months!
Yeah, if someone held a gun to my head I’d say The Arsenal will be hard pushed but 4.2/1 is far, far, far too big to my eye and had to be snapped up. I’m no football expert (and the number of bets I have on that sport you can probobly count on one hand over the course of the year) but I can see The Arsenal really going close this evening with the opposition perhaps thinking a draw will be more than enough given that the return leg is on their own patch where they have such an outstanding record.
No doubt old boy, even more so after the Irish clean up at Cheltenham. We will see the forums favourite trainer lining up next to our Boris campaigning to make the UK harder to get into. British racing for British trainers will be the call.
Indeed Barney its the horse that has had the op - not sure about the jockey ,but surely this wouldn't have remained with the trainer unless there was potential
I hope your not suggesting that next year Bill Mullins will be forced to bribe lorry drivers to hide Faugheen, Douvan, Vautour and Rich Richtea, the heir to the biscuit tin fortune, in the back of their vehicles in order to secure passage to The Festival! Cor bally 'eck!
Cor blimey its quiet on here. Is the chap with all the IDs otherwise engaged or are the access probbies back?!? Was never like this when the daily thread was employed for us all to discuss what we had for our lunch! Quite a move in the 3 mile handicap chase on the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival going on. Jonjo O’Neill’s novice, Minella Rocco down to as low as 8/1 Fav.
