Think the prosecution case finished now and it's turn of defence. Johnson on stand and interesting he said that SAFC knew he had admitted kissing the girl? When previous evidence said otherwise. WHich is it? Surely if he admitted it they would of sacked him then?

Already been covered in this very thread! Discussed at some length and agreed by the moderators. By keeping it out of Koeman's/Premier League threads (which it overlaps into on both counts) it means we can have informed discussion with 'official' lines from the courtroom. Stops people getting themselves into any possible confusion or trouble, and means the case is viewable to those who wish to follow, but equally is avoidable for those who don't want to see it at all.
The EU thread was locked. Someone raised this issue when you first created it dtlw, and they were promptly shot down by a variety of posters with the thoughts, don't comment/read if you don't want to. Slight Edit as EU thread doesn't overlap other threads
The EU thread is nothing to do with me! Take it up with a moderator - which I am not - if you have any issues about another thread.
Don't have issues with you or your thread! Just saying why was the EU thread locked when people can avoid if they want to, as people seemed to have agreed that is protocol.
I think this one is slightly different, if I may defend the moderating team. This is a legal case. The EU thread is all about opinion, views and angles. This is a legal case. It's not really 'okay' for people to speculate or argue the toss. In this instance, we deal with the facts - by reading about them - and awaiting the verdict. By having all this information in one place, and led by informed reports from well-regarded journalists, we lessen the risk of inaccuracies or any claims with possible legal implications. I do understand why you'd want an EU thread, though.
