I have a horrid feeling it will be Chelsea/or Manchester United in the final, maybe both. If it is, then it is worthwhile taking the wife out shopping and booking a trip to the theatre or taking a weekend break to Paris or the Cotswolds. It would a tremendously boring match. The best would be Watford and Palace.

If Chelsea do make it through in the CL against PSG, I hope they get Barca (I cannot see Arsenal living with Barca. Who can?) and would hope Barca thrash the living daylights out of them over both legs.

We need that thread...there's already been stuff posted that should be on that thread. And life is so boooooooooooooooooooooooring without real football.

And as for the cup....Spurs and City going out may yet affect our European ambirions....we need teams above us to win the cups. Even though we intend to finish 4/5th.....we may not.

We know their defence can be vulnerable but you cannot say that Fabregas, Willian, Pedro and Costa are not looking dangerous therefore we need to compact the space behind our defence. I am sure we will keep it tight but Chelsea are growing in momentum.

I'm not overly worried about Costa, I think VVD will smother him. We obviously have to be wary of the runs behind the back 4 that their midfielders make but there should be a lot less space than Man City allowed them.

As for their defence, well, always capable of a mistake.

Should be a good game.

I agree, there is a distinct lack of stickied threads at the moment. Any time you like Fats.
Plus it might take your minds off politics...
