It was offline for about four hours while some adjustments were being made. Unforeseen side-affect, unfortunately.
I see United have renamed their South Stand the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand. Call me a cynic, and I'm not saying the tribute isn't justified, but the timing of this strikes me as a very obvious PR stunt attempting to take the heat of an under fire club leadership.

DL referenced that the Fazio loan deal had been possible because MP, J McD and PM are confident in the abilities of a younger player to step up to the first team if required Hmm, I wonder which right-footed centre back in our Academy side that Poch singled out for praise a few weeks ago he could possibly be referring to...
"Hmm, I wonder which right-footed centre back in our Academy side that Poch singled out for praise a few weeks ago he could possibly be referring to..." Indeed. Events IMHO are going to call CCV into the seniors now on at least one of the upcoming 3 games, if Pochettino has any aspirations for a treble. We need a 4th CB match-fit and ready to front up ASAP.
Although I can't picture it, didn't Walker play Centre Half occasionally for Sheff Utd - or was that Naughton (can't picture that either)?
"Although I can't picture it, didn't Walker play Centre Half occasionally for Sheff Utd" Is that the <standard> you are suggesting will happen sometime soon ??
"CCV and Dier are adequate backup for the position until JV gets back." CCV is not match-fit though (hence my comment) . When both Bentaleb and Mason are match-fit then I will be ok with Dier as cover CB. I am hoping the next 3 cup games will help a lot on the above fronts.
As I mentioned on the Fiorentina match thread, I believe the backup to Wimmer is now Davies, who is at least left-footed and has played at CB. To tell you the truth, Davies has been sound enough defensively I would worry less about him than Carter-Vickers starting for Alderweireld. I’m skeptical we’ll see Vertonghen again this season, frankly. Taking it a step forward, Bentaleb looked great his one game at LB, so starting Davies and bringing Bentaleb in to rotate with Rose may not work out so badly.
Fascinatingly insightful article about the pressures of 'making it' at PL level, the impact of suddenly having nothing to do with your life at the ripe old age of 35, and most importantly - the catalogue of mental health issues that can affect footballers that the system has historically brushed under the carpet. Well worth a read and confirms what I think most of us already know...money can't buy you happiness. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...nt-a-cautionary-tale-for-premier-league-stars
"Well worth a read and confirms what I think most of us already know...money can't buy you happiness." Money + being well-grounded adult = great life. Flawed adult + anything = greater likelihood of problems, period.
Notwithstanding the idea that money + adulthood = no longer well-grounded occurs in many, many cases.
