Haha! Only read the last page of this thread but it sounds as if I'm really missing out on some fun.

I will keep looking in to see what you guys are getting up to but if the 2010 season is based on the real cars, the Ferrari should be better than the McLaren, particularly with downforce in the faster corners.

Very interesting to read how you're getting on - with or without aids!

;)

Car performance is based on the first half of the season i think.

Anyway i will post my career stats. Not as impressive as some of yours but i like it that way. Winning every race would make it feel fake to me.

Year 1: Lotus - 0 wins, 2 pole positions, 2 podiums. WDC = 10th, 61 points
Year 2: Lotus - 3 wins, 2 pole positions, 7 podiums. WDC= 4th, 199 points
Year 3: Red Bull - 4 wins, 10 pole positions, 12 podiums. WDC = 1st, 255 points
Year 4: Ferrari -5 wins, 4 pole positions, 10 podiums. WDC = 3rd, 243 points
Year 5: Sauber (8 races so far) 0 wins, 2 pole positions, 3 podiums WDC= 4th, 93 points

I kept a breif record on my computer because the game deletes the statistics every season

For me the hardest races (not always the hardest tracks) are Barcelona (easy track but stupidly hard AI), Malaysia (I hate the corner leading onto the back straight), Singapore (there are two corner which I am forever in danger of locking up and sliding into the wall).

Easiest races are Australia (I own that track), Turkey (good track to drive), Monaco (concentrate, damn it keep concentrating), Canada (for some reason it is really easy), Spa (I destroy everyone in the 1st and 3rd sectors although I loose a lot of time in sector 2 because of a lack of downforce), Monza (quite easy but have to get braking right for first chicane), Sao Paulo (I know the track so well).

I rule at melbourne, dominate montreal and obliterate in malaysia. I can't do suzuka at all, doesn't matter what game i play, i've never been able to do that track. For some reason i struggle at monza, i'm not sure why.

Traditionally my favourites have been Melborne, Sau Paulo, Monza, Hockenhiem (old layout) and suzuka. I guess everybody knows the melborne circuit like the back of thier hands on games as its the first track you drive.

Love Montreal. That is one of the bugs on the game that the AI are slower but it could also be that i have perfected the track. I can do a lap on the prime tyres in a Renault and still finish 1.5 seconds in front in practice and sometimes quali when its on proffesional difficulty ! :D

The only F1 game I play is Grand Prix Legends, does anyone else here play, or even heard of it?

F1 2010 is just way too easy :(
Cant wait till 2011 and it should be much harder, co-op career will be great too <ok>

Does anyone know if there is going to be a SC on F12011 because I have heard conflicting rumours. If there is I am so going to Heidfeld it.

My aids are

Auto gear
Full abs and traction
No racing line though

Just finished Monza was running P2 in the Lotus on the last lap and had Button behind me and Webber in front and We were covered by about 2 secs and Webber lost it in the first lesmo and I slammed the brakes but hit his rear, got a penalty and had a broken front wing, then of course Button rammed me as well so I had 2 rear punctures and I had to go slowly to finish line and finished a respectable 8th.

Just finished Q1 and 2 of Singapore and I really do well at the track the rest are about 1.2 secs slower than me.

;)

Just so I can feel superior to everyone else; I have no aids, manual gears, legendary AI, but I do have flashbacks.
