How was I forced to agree with you, exactly? I could've just done what you did and dishonestly denied the obvious.
You seem to think that you've somehow gained something from it, though I've no idea what.

You are blathering again, I'm afraid. It wasn't a pen, you've agreed with me on that. Time to move on <ok>

You're throwing your toys out of the pram because you can't stand being forced to agree with me
and you're calling me a child. Pathetic

By the way...on another thread this week I asked if you still think that Southampton got the better manager after Pochettino left them but you obviously didn't see it cos you didn't answer...serious question, no bitch bomb...have you changed your mind?
I was unsure of him ... really wanted him to work out and thought he might if given enough time but what he has turned us into has really impressed me.

Sorry, I must have missed that. Yep Pochettinho is turning out to be a really good manager, he's doing a great job at Spurs. I think Koeman has a different set of problems to be honest. Southampton have lost so many players it's unreal. Given the challenges he's had, I'd say he's doing a really good job. They are a point behind Utd and 7 from the top 4. I think he'll get them a Europa spot and it will be well deserved. Who's the better manager. You'd have to put Koeman in at Spurs to answer that, given the players and resources you have, I think he could do at least as well as Pochettinho there.

I think Toure was very lucky not to get booked. The first one was blatant, how he didn't end up in the book I don't know. Probably because it was early in the game and that sort of thing tends to get given early on. The second one was a bit late, but it's debatable whether it was a yellow. It probably should have been a final warning after he'd booked him for the first one. In the normal passage of play, it didn't look too bad, but the replay showed he caught him.

That said, it has absolutely nothing to do with the penalty Clattenburg gave you. Only the most myopic of fans would argue that it should have stood. It was a really poor decision that cost City the game in the end.

So if Toure's second foul was merely a debatable yellow was not Simpsons second yellow a silly decision by the ref which totally turned the game in Arsenals favour...therefore you got lucky, we got lucky...so the luck evened itself out...unless your a northerner..in which case ****em...they deserve no luck cos they're northerers ...win win in my book <laugh>

I think Simpson got a second yellow because the challenge was deliberate and cynical. Whereas Toure's was just a bit late, but he was clearly going for the ball. I agree about the northern monkeys though :)

I think Koeman has done a great job there...Can't believe the difference there goalkeeper returning has made...makes me nervous about us having to play them ... 6 clean sheets on the trot <yikes>

I think it was cos the ref wanted to even things up ... but then I think the xfiles is a documentary series <laugh>

He basically kept them in the game when we played them at home a couple of weeks ago. He's a monster, something like 6'5" and a really agile keeper.

I saw that...just thought he was having a flukey blinder but its more than that clearly...good for England to have competition for Hart.

Possibly. We had a really decent shout for a pen turned down in the first half. If it had been Clattenburg he'd have given a pen, sent the man off and abused his mother, such was the heinous nature of the handball compared to Sterlings.

Then our ref didn't give a clear foul on Ozil when the Leicester player jumped on his back outside of our area, from that play he then awarded a dodgy pen against us, when Vardy ran into Monreal's leg and threw himself to the ground. There were also loads of niggly fouls and shirt pulling that he missed, as well as a really bad studs up lunge which caught Ramsey.

He basically had a really poor first half and then started clamping down on everything he could in the second. Simpson was a victim of that, but technically both were yellow card offences. BTW, everything on the X-files is real ....

He's ahead of Butland for me and definitely pushing Hart for the No1 jersey. Hopefully Woy will take him to the Euros.

As a "neutral" (football belongs to Manchester) fan of a mid table club who had one eye on both the Spurs and Arsenal games....

It was a penalty for Leicester
The Simpson sending off was harsh
Toure got away with a couple
No way was it a penalty against Sterling

TBH, I thought the Leicester penalty was harsh, but apart from that, <ok>

The non foul on Ozil was shockingly funny...Thought the ref was poor ... the tackle on Ramsey was outragous but Ramsey rolled around and then jumped up and went mental when no foul was given...he looked like he was trying to make a nothing tackle into an issue.
Was telling my 13 daughter about an x file episode about a man who bend and flattern his body to get in and out of any building... scared us both stupid <laugh>

I know there's a massive rivalry between Arsenal and Spurs, but to be honest. It's great seeing both North London clubs battle it out for the title (along with Leicester). It's a brilliant season, full of twists and turns and I think the run in is going to get even better. Plus we all get to laugh at Chelsea for ****ing it up big time :)
