He committed two blatant yellow card offences. Didn't get a yellow for either and one wasn't even given as a foul. From the BBC thread: Mark_Lynch: Toure has made 2 dreadful challenges and not been booked for either Jack Ellacott: 2 bookable offences. No card. Toure is nailed on to score now. Colin Todd: Pathetic, 3 yellows the Ref has missed. Yaya should be off. "Toure is very late that should easily have been a yellow card. That’s twice, he is lucky to be on the field." - Robbie Savage.
Have you got any video clips ? If anything, it might have been better if Sterling had been sent off. Then City wouldn't have been punished with that ludicrous pen.
Cracking day for the North London teams today. They've both reined Leicester in and there's just 2 points between 1st and 3rd now. It's a really exciting season and it's going to go to the wire !
Come off it, that's bollocks and you know it. Toure should have walked for two blatant yellow card offenses.
We're just here for the ride. We didn't expect much at the start of the season, so if we get top 4, great! Anything else, fantastic!!!
Makes up for thst arse of a ref refusing to send off your player last week...refs love norf londoners
Who cares? They richer than god and bought the league twice...so I repeat...who cares?....oh right, you do
You'll 100% get top 4 imo, so that's a very good season for Spurs tbf. I didn't give you much chance at the start so fair play
We seem to have developed a pair of balls under Pochettino, for the first time in a while. A year or two ago we would have folded in that second half.
I drifted off a bit during the game but the foul early on from behind that was only a free kick against Toure was ridiculous.
http://www.fullmatchesandshows.com/...vs-tottenham-hotspur-highlights-full-match/#3 1st half ENG: Around 5.10 and and 22.40. "The referee hasn't seen Yaya Toure going in late on Wimmer, there. I think he's got away with another one." Niall Quinn thinks that he should've gone. I'm sure that you'll see it differently, though.
Remaining Arsenal Fixtures: Man Utd (A) Swansea (H) Spurs (A) WBA (H) Everton (A) Watford (H) West Ham (A) Palace (H) Sunderland (A) Remaining Spurs Fixtures: Swansea (H) West Ham (A) Arsenal (H) Villa (A) Bournemouth (H) Liverpool (A) Man Utd (H) Stoke (A) WBA (H) I'd give Arsenal perhaps a slightly easier run in. Just.
The first one definitely, the second probably not. It was a bit late but I don't think it was a yellow. He was lucky not to get booked. But sent off ? I don't think so. Regardless, none of that changes the fact that the ref absolutely gifted you a pen which resulted in you getting all 3 points. Very lucky to be honest.
