....and perhaps this guy riding out into the sunset. Apparently their biggest home loss in 23 years, a 6-2 home defeat by Arsenal.

Last time I looked it was only 0-2......now it's 6 and still 20 minutes to go.....

This has the hall marks of Villa's farewell to top flight football.....they could be gone for a long time.....

Definitely looks like an end to their recent Houdini seasons.

I watched the Arsenal game at a friend's (I'm too tight to pay for Sky) and when he asked if I wanted to stay for the other two games I said that I'd better get home to wash the cars! Not my best decision of the weekend :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Going to watch the Citeh game though - probably be a 0-0 bore draw now!

The first two matches were included in the TV package I subscribe to, but the Man City v Spurs game is only on SportsNet World, an extra $20/mth "speciality" channel, so I will try to find a stream for that one. Too cold here to wash the cars!

This link should be good for anyone else overseas:-

Spurs take a late 2 -1 lead through Eriksen.

I'd rather Spurs than Arsenal, they've put together a terrific young side. Citeh are a shambles considering the cost of their team, on paper they should be walking the Premier League...

Who would you prefer? I have nothing against Spurs, my London former school chum's team, except Harry and his rejects. Would like Leicester to hold out for the title, but prefer Spurs over Arsenal.

I've always had a thing about Spurs Kilburn, I don't know why, no logic to it. Love to see Leicester do it, but alas I don't think there is enough strength in depth in the squad to get over the line.

Leicester aren't far behind Norwich and Villa in my dislike list. So I hope they collapse and finish bottom half. Don't care much who wins otherwise but Arsenal have been playing the best football of the type I want to watch for years without quite the superspend of City and Chelsea, so hope they win it.

Having passed on most of their rejects to ourselves and other teams, Spurs have made some excellent acquisitions of young talent and are also playing an attractive style of football.

Agree, they are developing exciting young English talent and playing with a very strong team ethic.

Both excellent matches and as i wished win for leicester arsenal won was justice done. Simpson was stupid to give ref a chance for second yellow and now leicester have bit more higher rock to climb over. Spurs are my first favourite (leicester second) for a title and they finally have a team to win it. Todays display against city was perfect example of that. Surving from the citys pressure and coolly slotted a winning goal by eriksen was a masterpiece of a title chaser. Its going to be a great spring ahead us in the premierleague.
