We have been **** since he's taken over . Fact

What the **** was that set up today ? Incompetent

I often wonder whether changing manager mid-way through a season is sensible. After all, he will still basically have the same players to use. OK so we have a transfer window in January, but can you really get the players in or out you during that time? We would probably continue to struggle with CR at the helm, however moving goalposts did not help.
Whatever happens, we are "stuck" with JFH so we are best to get behind him and the team. We have had shocking results against Fulham for some time and I would have thought that making the player watch the recent games would be enough to fuel some passion and fighting spirit.
I haven't seen the game, or even heard commentary on radio so I may be partly speaking from my rear - however Fulham with 1 win in 15 until today should have been there for the taking or is it just same old Rangers, losing to side on losing streak, or the striker that hasn't scored in 50 odd games suddenly hitting the net against us (aka John Jansen Arsenal who broke his duck against us having never scored in 200 odd games!!)

Talk tactics and formations all you like. We lack leaders and characters on the pitch. We have a clueless donkey (Onuoha) running around in defence knowing **** all about defending. Not fit to lace Richard Dunne's boots. No Derry type in midfield and not a leading attacker like we had in Austin. There is a long way to go until we're able to replace those type of players, and until we do it matters not one bit who the ****ing manager is.
This, no leaders on the pitch and no leaders off the pitch

It's all very well people saying that the formation made no difference and it was all down to the players, but I'm sorry, that's just plain wrong.
Re-arrange the starting 11 to this and at least Fulham wouldn't have been strolling around, playing like Barca, with the whole of ****ing West London to play in:
--------------------------------------Smithies-----------------------------------
Perch----------------Onuoha-----------------Hall--------------Konchesky
---------------------------Luongo------------Tosser---------------------------
Phillips-----------------------------Hoilett------------------------------Mackie
----------------------------------Polter-------------------------------------------

As soon as JFH had watched 10 minutes, he should have changed to this, to at least match them for numbers in midfield.
It's nothing like the team I'd pick from the off though. Then again, I wouldn't have got rid of Harriman and Doughty.

The manager looked totally clueless today.

It doesn't seem to matter who the manager is, what players we have or what league we are in, we never have a side that plays like a team. Year in year out our side looks like a random collection of strangers who lose all footballing ability the minute they set foot on loftus road turf. I just want to see some effort and some bloody football, you know a pass or two, someone making some space, a bit of movement off the ball, just one f*cking player who looks like he has half clue how to play the game. Seriously we really have had some clueless bloody players over the last 5 years or so, I know the manager(s) shoulder most of the blame but when all you've got to work with are Mr Braindead, the village idiot and the thicky twins maybe it's no wonder no manager can seem to succeed here.

Agreed, very often and for far too long we often see unmotivated, disinterested and clueless performances from our squad. I would have said team but I'm not sure that's the case right now.

Phillips was playing midfield helping out when he completely bottled out of a tackle allowing Fulham to score their second.
The players on the pitch were incapable of playing your formation....well Phillips and Hoillett were.
The fault was not recognising this at 30 minutes and putting on Henry....and pulling off Phillips...but I bet I can imagine what would have been said if he did that.

Truth of the matter is Ale is indispensable...and we have no decent midfielders.

Fulham have the best attacking force in the division in Dembele and McCormick, I think they have scored more goals than nearly any other team...they were always going to score....but our team never looked like scoring.
Today was the day to play Henry.....

But you said earlier that it wasn't JFH's fault. It clearly was, as he picked a God-awful line up and then failed to react when it was clear to everyone that we were getting slaughtered in the midfield.
The players were to blame too no doubt. Hall was asleep for their first and Onuoha lost his man for the second. But they wouldn't have faced such an onslaught if the coach had changed things after 20 minutes, like he should have done.

I wouldn't have started with the side I posted. I was simply pointing out that JFH could have switched to that formation to at least limit Fulham's grip on the game. The next step would indeed have been to bring on Henry and form a three man central midfield.
JFh looks all at sea Beth.

It's not fact though as we were better than Ipswich when you said we were lucky to beat them.

I'm a Faurlin fan and you aren't. All I'll say is we seem to have more chance of winning a game when he plays than when he doesn't. Either he's a wizard or a better footballer than his competition.

It wasn't JFH finest hour Col, but I am pretty sure by the time of the second goal we were suppose to be playing 4 in midfield. JFH was badly let down by his players .

It was a naive team choice to start with...thinking Toszer and Luongo could play like Ale and Luongo did last week.....I accept that..
But the team crumbled...Phillips bottled tackles, Hall had is worse game for us....the backs were inept..
Polter did nothing...and please do not even ask about the farce that went on when we took corners.

It was a very very bad day at the office...
But I do think we have to stick with JFH...because I suspect that he is more sick than even we are

Agreed Beth. Real test will be next week to see what reaction JFH is able to get out the players. Really wish we'd managed to off-load Phillips, his total lack of effort really annoys me.

With respect Beth, you're missing the point somewhat.
We always had 4 in midfield, as it was 4-4-2. The trouble was, that formation contained Phillips and Hoilett, neither of which like to defend with conviction and Luongo, who tends to get further forward in the centre. This against a side with 5 in midfield, which often became 6 when one of their forwards dropped in. JFH didn't change anything in the first half by which time we were 3-0 down.

Clueless!

I thought the tackling was so poor, more like twinkle toes, bottled out at times especially 2/3rd goals, couldn't trap or control all afternoon, hold your hands up to Fulham, passing & movement good.
