Manchester United and Arsenal have both announced that ticket prices will be frozen next year. They clearly have more respect for their day trippers than the Dipper's have for der day trippers do don't dey la.

.....or could it be that they've both decided that it'd be disastrous PR to announce price hikes given that the issue has made it to the Commons this week, off the back of the Liverpool fans protests?

Fair's fair, they've brought this issue to the headlines by their action, and it's actually yielded some results.

In case people have forgotten they championed this course last season when they bought tickets for Hull away and didn't attend, in order to highlight the rip off factor of away tickets across the division.

I think United's announcement was made before the Dippers saved football but cost their team two points.

I was hoping to post that on your BBC Salford thread this morning but was too late as one of your brothers cut and pasted it 26 seconds after it appeared on the BBC website.

They backed down, Tobes, IMO, because Pool are playing crap and The Messiah Klopp hasn't weaved his magic wand over the place as so many expected.

If they were being more successful, the club would justify it by saying that the success of the club costs more money, and bollocks like thst.

I bet they did. <laugh>

It is a funny article though as regardless of income and potential transfer fees you've got to get it right on the pitch. Going to be an interesting Summer for you lot....well a lot of teams really I see transfers getting crazy with us chasing as usual and City and you lot going bonkers.
