People don't find this kind of thing very funny, Aldo. You simply cannot crack any jokes about the subject. I was at airport, a few weeks back, coming into Heathrow from the Middle East (visiting family), and the security bloke asked me if I had packed my own bag. I said that I had not only packed my own bag, but the bags of all the other passengers on the flight. Fcuk me! You would not believe the hassle I got! Before I could get the words "just kidding" out of my mouth, I was tazared, strung up like a turkey, and had teams of stern-faced men with American accents working on my arse with rubber gloves for over an hour! The bastards could have used lube! So, please do not joke about this subject, Aldo. It could get you into serious trouble, my friend.
You normally have to pay for this sort of thing, but the Americans were kind enough to give you a freebie! Stop complaining! ,
Sir Alex Ferguson believes Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is the best manager in England, according to the Labour MP for Tottenham David Lammy. (Times - subscription required) Yes, we all know, Alex. Oh, and by the way, hands off, pal!
Probably Ferguson trying to undermine another Utd manager before he's even started. Nice warning for Mourinho. Nice of Lammy to piss off the Spurs fans again, though. What a ****.
I really do hope that we go on to dominate English football for the next decade, with Poch at the helm. Perhaps, at the end of that period, the hack media will talk in terms of the best of the best naturally gravitating towards Spurs, rather than away from us. It boils my blood the bias that is shown towards United and 'Pool, as though, regards of form, they are the two teams that are heirs to some kind of Premiership thrown! Even though 'Pool have been outside the top 4 more often than not these past 6 years, the media have kept alive the belief that it's only a temporary blip, and that they'll very soon be taking up their "rightful" place among the top 4 elite! What they should really be doing is reporting it exactly how it is, that 'Pool is now a bang average mid-table side. The same is true of United, at the moment, but that doesn't stop a handful of media arseholes reporting that United can still win the title!
if The Liverpool Loving Media {TLLM} think that Liverpool should be in top 4 who do they honestly think they will replace on a consistent basis ? united and arsenal have been in top 4 for last 20 years, and chelsea for last 10, and city for last 5. spurs have been top 5/6/7 for last 5 years with Liverpool. what does the TLLM think Liverpool will do to overtake everyone FFS, they have tried various managers, spent vast fortunes on ****e, all to no avail.
After this season it will be 6 finishes above Liverpool out of the last 7 years. I really don't see any room for Pool. No mention of Leicester?
West Ham and Leicester have made a shift on 'Pool, this season. Everton could well finish above them, too. So, it's not just us. Realistically, 'Pool are, at best, at top-half-of-the-table side, at the moment.
