    A is for attitude
    B for belief,
    Both must be right
To help cut out the grief,
    C is for closeness
    Within the whole squad,
    D to dig deep
    When we feel under trod,
    E is for effort
    And energy too,
    F for the fight
    Which must again shine through,
    G ´s for those goals
    We´ve been missing of late,
    H for some heart
When we step to the plate,
    I is for icy
    The look they should get,
    If at any time
    They should just forget,
    J for the jugular
    Where we should aim,
    Which leads to K
    To kill off any game,
    L is for luck
    Which any team does need,
    M ´s for the manager
    Who they must heed,
    N is for niceness
    Throw that overboard,
    That sort of luxury
    We can´t afford,
    O is ourselves
    We too must dig deep,
P ´s for our Premier place
    Which we must keep,
    Q is for quality
    Which we have signed,
    R to recover some
    That would be fine,
    S is the setback
    We all know we´ve had,
    Our New Year jitters
    Are often this bad,
    T is for thirteen
    The games that remain,
    U for those under us
    And in more pain,
    V ´s for the volume
    Of noise in our stands,
    W the war
We´ve now got on our hands,
    X -rated it could be
    From now on in,
    Y for the youth
Who might just get a spin,
    Z ´s for the zip
We want back in our step
    To hopefully celebrate
This survival alphabet. OTBC - INIT

    I Hope you're right RBF because right now I think we're more;

    A is for awful
    with all the ballsups,
    B is best off out,
    of both of the cups,
    C is for crapness
    of the whole squad,
    D for Dead lazy b'stards
    Less grass have they trod,
    E is for emnity
    the meek surrenders provoke,
    F for the f#ckup
    Like O'neil at Stoke,
    G ´s for those gonads
    We´ve been missing of late,
    H for the humiliation
    On our recent Villa date,
    I is for icky
    the brown stuff we're in,
J is joke of our form
If looked for our positives are thin,
    K is for kooks
Delia drinks Sherry in her own way
    L is for losing
    whilst in our negative sway,
    M ´s for the manager
    who's run out of ideas,
    N is for nouce
    sadly lacking between the ears,
    O is for over
at villa the fat lady sang,
P ´s for our Premier league bubble
Which burst with a bang ,
    Q is for quality
    so little we've seen,
    R is on the road
    no points have there been,
    S is for Suarez
    things could have been worse,
    5 goals from Liverpoo
20 would have perpetuated the curse
    T is for thirteen
    more games to fail,
    U for under performing
    our defence has been bad,
    V ´s for the vitriol
    on social media its sad,
    W the wasted chances
    Our strikers have had,
X - is for Xenon gas
    as inert as our players,
    little ole Norwich
    living up to the naysayers
    Y for the y'army
    all out of song,
    Z for the zeppelin like
    turning circle of Sebastian Bassong

    I like yours better OTBC

    Bah!

Very commendable Melchy, and sadly, probably rather nearer the truth :( - hopefully mine can stir them into action.

I saw this a moment ago:

Norwich average 2.71 points/game when they score first and just 0.22 when they concede the opener

If true then we better pray for an early City goal! (Even if its not true, an early goal would be rather welcome from us for a change)

    Bah!

<applause> for both efforts and unfortunately, I can agree with both alphabets. Let's hope we see more of RBF's in the remaining games!!!!

What's that like compared to other teams though? I would have thought most teams struggle to get points when they concede first

Strangely enough, the last game I remember us coming from behind to win was against West Ham!

To add insult to injury with our bad luck, it turns out that Villa's opener was actually an own goal by Klose...

That was Agbonlahor's goal. This one was the header by Joleon L.

EVERYONE in the squad, including AN MUST be forced to watch this at lunchtime - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35556489
For me one of the MOST important points is that there NO stars, but the whole team plays for each other!!!!!!
