****inn Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssssssss<party>

Without trying to tell you how to do your job properly, I would only include people who have over say 11,000 posts, as that gives a fairer reflection. Just saying.
I get your point, M, but I find it interesting to see how youthful exuberance eventually gives way to stagnation and suicide.

I shouldn't think anyone cares, but here are some interesting updates -

Someone likes me: 7.13 down to 4.76 :)
Early success for newcomer Garth: 1.54 :emoticon-0137-clapp
Yootdem the Like Lord: 1.41
Dev's going to be happy: 21.37 plummets to 14.82
Scan the Man: 3.94 :emoticon-0152-heart
The Prosecco Prince: 3.77

Have I forgotten anyone?
aye

Exactly mate, ****s are getting "likes" for anything these days, not the same as it was back in our day when we had to work for our "likes".
Hang on a minute, M. You were just celebrating your excellent progress - progress made during 'these days'.

You can't have it both ways, treacle.

The fact is our young beaus (Scan:emoticon-0152-heart) are using a special mix of innovation and guile to glean their likes. They should be praised, not denigrated.

The point I am making is that these newbies like that fat **** Scan and Garth are coming onto the forum at a time where "likes" are given out like candy, so their ratios are good from the get go. Good ****s like me and me old China, Trev had to work our way up to good ratios, through good old fashioned graft and humour. If we had started out accounts in the last year we would have more likes than posts. The new ****ers on here don't know how easy they have it. <steam>

Whilst i wish to disassociate myself from the abusive comments made about Scan and Garth and other newcomers, I would agree that it is harder to get likes by making the odd vaguely witty remark here and there (whilst frequently missing the target) than it is by being constantly funny and putting up amusing picutres and GIFs etc. I feel your pain.

Have a "like" from your buddy Iain, Andy<ok>

I think the salient point is that I made over 40,000 comments BEFORE likes came in. If I was to get a like for every 20 comments I made during that time (my current average) I would have another 2000 likes... ****o.
