Not sure why tourists seem to be getting the blame for poor atmosphere. It's been poor for a while except 13/14 - was there a problem with tourists then ?
The atmosphere is because of the sh*t performances.
fair point that....
@G'inho

No it isn't. The atmosphere is **** whatever gets served up. The atmosphere OUTSIDE was great in 2014 but inside it was pretty much the same (weekends especially).
The tourists aren't to blame per se but to answer your question it is in part down to having fewer regulars that the atmosphere sucks. The number of season tickets might suggest we have as many regulars as ever but in reality many only go a few times a year and sell their tickets the rest of the time. Like it or not the non regulars generate 0.01% of the atmosphere inside Anfield.
However the simple (but uncomfortable) answer is that all-seaters just don't generate the atmosphere that standing areas do. They never will....
fair point. (someone at some point is going to have to do a palace, like the thought or no.... )
also the point on selling tickets is entirely true. the club is now asking on website to hand them back in to redistribute but that ship has sailed IMO.
@G'inho thoughts?

suppose its fair alright.... $77 and all that... fair.
fair points.Liverpool supporters' groups are planning a walkout protest during Saturday's Premier League match at Anfield against Sunderland.
The Spion Kop 1906 group - backed by the Spirit of Shankly (SoS) - have suggested fans leave their seats in the 77th minute in protest at the £77 top-priced ticket in the new main stand.
The club have announced the increased price, up from £59, for next season.
An SoS statement expressed its anger at "no explanation" from the owners.
The statement added: "The outcome is extremely disappointing and a missed opportunity for Liverpool to lead in a fairer approach to ticket prices.
"We believe it is right and fair to lower ticket prices in order to sustain our support and subsequently the atmosphere inside Anfield."
Liverpool chief executive Ian Ayre highlighted the freeze or decrease in 64% of season ticket prices and 45% of matchday tickets.

fair points.
if you move to the top of the stand in the wind you can get pneumonia and cheaper tickets though....
I think that's fair.
I thought the last bit was interesting...
"Liverpool chief executive Ian Ayre highlighted the freeze or decrease in 64% of season ticket prices and 45% of matchday tickets."
...didn't they freeze pricing last year or did I imagine that?
That bloke who gets all his knowledge from footie manager would probably do a better job spending our transfer budget than the shambles that is the committee have managed so far.
Sad but true lol

They've spent over £300m on players ffs.
It's not their fault if the people they've tasked with making that investment i.e. Rodgers and the fabled committee have royally ****ed it up.
They've also sorted your stadium out.
They've run at a loss for 4 years.
They've managed to employ one of the highest rated managers in the game.
What more do you ****ing want?
The idea that they're not looking for a return and that anyone else who might follow them wouldn't have the same idea is absolutely noddy. There's only 2 clubs who are run (or I should say WERE run) without a care about a fiscal return and they were Chelsea and City. Both are now at the point were they're virtually self sufficient. The Chinese investment into City has given them the foundation for further growth and player investment and Chelsea are now in profit.
Every other owner in the league is in it for an eventual pay day. FSG are no exception. To expect people to chuck hundreds of £m's at a football club for 'love' is beyond naive.
FSG have been guilty of one thing......employing the wrong people to manage the football side of the business. To blame them for you being pretty **** at present is way off beam.

they [HASHTAG]#bottledit[/HASHTAG]When has he ever had 'his day'? We can all say on 'on his day he's good', but if a player never has his day he's just not very good. I'd sell Lallana cause I can't see him ever doing anything worth while and he's English so we could get some money for him.On present runs, there are few I would keep of the current choice barring Coutinho, Sturridge (and even that's at a push if he can't stay fit), Ings, Smith, Stewart, Brannigan, Teixiera (though he's not ours, anyway, not yet), Firmino, Flanagan, Sakho, Allen (never thought I'd say that!) - please feel free to add in anyone I may have missed. Even Lallana I would keep purely for the fact that on his day...
...but we didn't spend money for 'on his day'. Sorry, but we didn't.
