So who finishes higher in the league?

They'll argue over anything and both deny every thing said. So are they up for a bet and are they willing to accept the bet and accept the consequences?

The bet is simple who will finish higher in the league Spurs or Arsenal at the end of this season?

The league has to be the final PL league on the BBC website (so no pulling crazy leagues out of your arse).

I will be the final judge if there are any disputes and my word final so you have to accept this as part of the bet.

For the loser.....

If HAIG loses he has to change his avatar to a picture of Tony Adams of MY CHOICE.
If PISKIE loses he has to change his avatar to a picture of Glen Hoddle of MY CHOICE.

Yeah bring it on. <laugh>

Arsenal will finish above Spurs this season.

But I'm only prepared to accept the terms if you can find me a picture of Glenn in full mullet glory :)

I don't bet.

But, if you want me to commit, then I will.

It's going to be a tough ask, but I think that Spurs have a very good chance of finishing above Arsenal, this season. Of course, Arsenal may finish above us - they have to be the favourites; but there is every reason to believe that Spurs could finish higher. That is what a lot of people believe.

So straight answer, I know you'll find this hard so a yes or no answer from you both please. Are you commited to this bet/challenge and will you agree to the change of your avatar?

The length of time for the avatar will be 1 month from the start of next season.

Good luck getting a straight yes or a no as neither are capable of one word answers.
Suggested options are: yes, no, well maybe, perhaps, it depends, I will if he won't, I won't if he will, if he says yes he means no, if he says no he means yes, and definitely maybe.

This is why I'm insisting on a yes or no because without that they'll look to backout with some sort of excuse.

HIAG seems to have gone strangely quiet ... although it could simply be the case that he and Rupert have drawn milk monitor duty at St Flacids today and are therefore otherwise engaged ... if so, I apologise for doubting <laugh>
