Most of the Gooners on this site will have been taking a well-deserved roasting and basting from piss-takers at their respective schools, today.
There are a few who have been in hiding since the Chelsea game. Not naming any names though, not my style
That goes without saying, mate. At this moment in time, if you offered me 4th spot, I'd take it, even if it meant Arsenal finishing above us, again. I think it's important that Poch's undoubted improvements to the club's ethos is paying dividends. My worry is that, although we are looking strong and plenty good for 4th, a few bad results from us, matched with a good winning run from United, could see us dumped out of top 4. Secretly, I think we're good enough to win the title, but one never wants to jinx the possibility by making any positive statements. Plus, I'd only have a certain obsessed Gooner on my case, boring everyone with his inane schoolboy taunts, should Spurs fail to the title.
I don't see that as being an outrageous suggestion, CFC. Who, of the other teams currently in the top 4, do you see as giving way to us?
Cym was on yesterday giving his expertise on the Arsenal Saints game yesterday? Shouldn't do this sort of thread, at Cym's age you could generate a lot of concern if people think he's gone missing
I see you've had a bad day today. Let me guess... is the wedding off?? please log in to view this image
I'd like it to be Arsenal, but I agree that it's more likely to be Leicester. Their luck with their chip-and-rush style of football won't last forever.
if chelsea win tonight, and then beat United they'll only be 2 wins from top 4, fact is anyone can still win it, it seems as though Arsenal have a chicken bone stuck in their throat as usual, who knows how the City players will react to Pelligrini being given the boot, but they were very unconvincing against Sunderland. Then Leicester and Tottenham are an injury to Mahrez/Kane from dropping down the table.
Very true. It's as wide open as I can ever remember it. Leicester have two very big games coming up, away to City and Arsenal. If they come through those with a good haul of points, I think they could well go on and win it.
Would be great but can't see where the 4th would come from. Yourselves, Spurs and Leicester and ? Saints and Watford are too far off I'd say. It's 4 from 6 now imo.
I cast my line, lay my bait in the water, and lo and behold! A fishy gets caught! It must seem like magic to those less enlightened.
