Great performance...best of the season by far.

But hold the fck on, I thought you had to pick one according to Skysports fanboys... performance or result??? It seems you can have both. How novel :-)

We're still not getting top 4, no chance.

Leicester won't go away, fair play to them, City are too good, Spurs are solid, Arsenal always get top 4, Liverpool will win the title and Chelsea are just on the start of their charge to second place (subject to the players deciding that they give a ****).

It was a good performance this evening but let's not get carried away that he's really let the handbrake off.

Nice to see we carried on from the Derby game, much more attack minded.
The defence is looking a bit better since Blind got some form back.
I am very impressed with Borthwick-Jackson, he does not looked phased by anything, he is good going forward (a bonus for a fullback) but more importantly looks good at defending. He is in the right position more often than most, won the majority of his headers tonight against a strong Stoke attack and on at least 3 occasions I noticed that when Smalling or Blind made (what appeared to be) a last ditch tackle/block he was actually behind them covering.

That was more like it from us, we've passed the first test, now onto Chelsea on Sunday.

I'd forgotten what it looked like to see our players smiling on the pitch. Nice to see them enjoying playing football.

Much better from United at OT. Is this really an LVG team? If it is then it is LVG Mark 2. A clear indication that there could be a new culture (hopefully) is the possession stats: United 45% Stoke 55% . At OT FFS . Did I read this right? The man totally obsessed with possession! Who knows. He may have given a rollicking to his players after the match.

If this is LVG Mark2 rather than the original one, yes I can live with that. But let's see whether he can keep his old instincts at bay...<ok>

One positive point this season has to be the number of youth players that have broken into the first team and played well.

The Philosophy was brutally exposed as bullshit last night. We had less possession than Stoke but managed 15 shots at goal. That wasn't a Van Gaal performance, he may not even have enjoyed it!

This season is a write off, we've given up too many silly points to finish top 4, but we should be fine next season assuming the Spoofer is sacked and is replaced by someone who hasn't got his head up his arse.

Dear old Bluey is now logging off to read this stuff before logging back in and posting updates on the Chav board for Ferivul.

His obsession with United is sweet.
