Actually Dai, I agree with you.

Just because someone hasn't met expectations at their present club, doesn't mean that they won't flourish elsewhere. Routs is an ex-QPR player who has found a home with us.

So perhaps, Fer will be the bees knees for us!

If we don't get another striker then there is no way we can let Gomis go anywhere...

Why ? We weren't using him before Paloschi came . A good chance that if Paloschi got hurt , Ayew would play up front again while Gomis continues to ride the bench .... .....collecting money.....unless he's not there

    Re: Fer

Whenever he has played against us I have been impressed.
Big, physical, great in the air, likes a shot (and it's a powerful shot)...seems to get into the area at the right time.
    BUT
both the Norwich and the QPR fans were ultimately not impressed, both accuse him of being lazy.

    Conclusion
Sounds like Shelvey? We are £12m up and Fer has a trial for 4 months. He is back up, competition for Ki.
So I'm happy enough. He might even get his **** together.

It's worth a punt. If it works it's a great bit of business, if he flops he goes back to them in the summer.
I'll take that until we bring Joe home in the summer, along with Jonny Williams (just for Trunds :) )

If he is a proper cock womble we can stick Fulton on the bench or tweak the formation....I have a hunch though that he'll be well up for charging around for 20 mins from the bench trying to get some positive attention. He needs to if he is to get a move in the summer.
I even reckon he'll chip in with a couple of goals....just a hunch.

Agree. He will need to impress. We can still get rid of him in the summer though ;)

Ki's, Cork's or Siggy's....even seen him stuck wide on occasion.
He is an athlete, when he can be arsed.

I reckon Guido will want one of his boys instead this summer, the boy from Lazio perhaps?
Fer is just a sticking plaster I reckon.

The way we have been setting up we have been sticking virtually all of our midfielders on the pitch.
If someone got injured we'd either have to change our shape or stick youngsters like Fulton in....I'm not opposed to giving Fulton minutes but I wouldn't like to depend on him....certainly not in our present situation.
    We now have back up.

Wonder how much money that Danny Williams wanted? :)

Strange move this for Fer,in my opinion.

If true,I'm just wondering who decided on him at this late stage?

Agree about Fulton. Depending what Guido wants to do with Amat, I can see him being used as an extra DM for the last 20mins of a game too. We have some decent options in the middle.

If Fer gets on the pitch regular we might stand a chance of scoring from some corners for a change.
He is a beast in the air.
Stick it on his head Siggy!
