He's free in the summer so would be a loan. Always liked the lad and he has bags of PL experience. Better than we have at LB.

He has had a few bad injuries in the last couple of seasons. Decent cover option for us until the summer IMO. If its a loan that is <laugh>

I don't understand why we haven't tried to get in an up and coming championship/league one LB if nothing else is available. Surely even that would be better than playing somebody out of position - particularly with our injury situation.
