    Fulham are busy

    Spending Dembele money perhaps?

Anyone else here think we should be looking at Remy as an alternative to Berahino? Great deal for Leicester if they get him

I honestly don't think he will dominate like everyone thinks he will. This is not the Spanish or German leagues, what with 2 other teams at max as competition.

P.s I hope he fails. City have not bothered me much with their success but I hope he fails. Only problem is I can't stand the other teams either, that are more likely to prosper if he does fail.

The Premier League has broken many a big name in the past, will Pep join them? This is a unique league and there will be many a team relishing the prospect of facing him to bring him down. Can he do it on a wet Wednesday night in Stoke? Will he adapt his approach slightly or will he be as unbendable as LvG and AVB? Either way, I'm not worried about him. Man City have so much more money to chuck around that I honestly don't see them as a relevance to what we do (barring a £50m + bid for Alli). I'm more concerned by what Chelsea and ManUre are going to do for next season.

After all the reported bad blood between us and WBA, it's interesting that we've agreed to loan them Pritchard. It suggests that there's dialogue between the two clubs, at least. Whether that means there's any quid pro quo re Berahino, now or in summer, we'll have to wait and see.

  14. £ity confirm the signing of Pep, and the BBC publish a tweet by Liam Gallagher!

    It's all so bloody predictable!

I would be looking at the summer.
The loss of face for Peace would be huge now.
Even if he Levyed somebody, his "not for sale" rhetoric will be very hollow.

  16. The fact that Levy has let Pritchard go WBA tells me that a deal, of some kind, has been brokered with Berahino. No way would Levy loan a player to a club with whom he's had a barny, if there had not been some reciprocation.

Agree with the above. Pep to City doesn't bother me in the slightest. I've also never understood a club making such announcements halfway through the season as it means Pellegrini loses all authority and respect in the dressing room yet still has to juggle 4 competitions. What do they actually gain from it?

Wasn't particularly impressed with his work at Bayern. They're obviously going to walk the bundesliga every year so Europe is the only real yardstick you can measure them by and in all honesty they've fallen drastically short of expectations in that department on his watch.

As for transfers, all the signs are that Berahino is staying put. Looks like Dembele is the only viable option now but that depends entirely on Fulham bringing in a replacement; a difficulty compounded by the fact that for FFP reasons they can't make permanent signings.

The worst part is how all of our problems are of our own making.

Usually SSN will have breaking news at around 5-6pm saying we're in talks for ___________________.
Then up until 11pm we're all wondering what the hell is going on behind locked doors, only to find out that a deal couldn't be reached because we've left it until the last minute!
I don't see it being any different today!

Perhaps Peace has unwittingly signed up to a Levy version of Get real Madrids'
    "relationship" scheme. <Faustian>

Less than 8 hours to go and we still haven't signed a striker.

Mark my words this will be a massive fail if we don't get one in.
