A striker and defender should be the priority for us to sign, I suspect Philipps to West Brom will also complete today.

WLS DM say we have agreed terms with El Khayati a forward from Burton, and he will have a medical this afternoon, but we are not after a Roofe yet..

Rumour from Sky
Sky Sources understand Fulham are considering a loan move for Crystal Palace goalkeeper Alex McCarthy.
Crystal Palace would be prepared to loan him out to get game time, as long as they can get a replacement in.

Our understanding is they want to sign Rob Green from QPR, who is out of contract this summer.

Ideal. And speaks volumes about McCarthy.

The only problem i have is "Sky sources...." and "Our understanding...." Other than that it sounds promising!!!!

Guardiola to City at the end of the season. Now I want City to win everything this season and put them in an awkward position. Especially champions league.

Any rumours on Mandy Traore? If not he has a career in panto as he can play 3 roles in Wizard of Oz simultaneously, lacking courage, a heart and a brain.

Can't help but giggle at all those weeping Chelsea fans that were kneeling at SB to unzip Pep's flies as he rode in to save them. Not gonna happen now. Opps. He he!

Dean Gerken has made 86 appearances for Ipswich Town

Ipswich goalkeeper Dean Gerken will be out for the next month after injuring his shoulder at Birmingham on Saturday.

The 30-year-old, who has played 27 times for Mick McCarthy's side this season, was injured late in the 3-0 Championship defeat when diving at the feet of Blues forward James Vaughan.

Town have Bartosz Bialkowski and Jonathan Henly as cover for Gerken.

"He has suffered a partially torn ligament in his right shoulder," physio Matt Byard
told the club website.

Berahino was the subject of a number of bids from Spurs last summer

Newcastle United have made a £21m bid to sign striker Saido Berahino from fellow Premier League club West Brom.
Baggies boss Tony Pulis said Berahino, 22, had wasted three or four months after a move to Tottenham was blocked last August.
The forward suggested he would not play for Baggies chairman Jeremy Peace again after the deal did not go through.

Berahino made a rare start against Peterborough in the FA Cup on Saturday and scored twice in a 2-2 draw.
