Have they said what's actually supposed to be wrong with him this time?

Has he developed a fear of grass or something? Agrophobia? Mental anguish when he wears red perhaps?

Bad sick note

Well the last issue was that muscle tweak in training weeks and weeks ago when he was supposed to be ready to play again and nothing has been said since afaik

I'm interested to see what happens when he does play again and if he gets through it and the following days unscathed, one more issue and I think it'll be curtains for the skiver

Is ridiculous that he claims he's bothered by injuries because his uncle had a lot of injury problems and he doesn't want to copy his mistake and miss loads of games unnecessarily. Why? Because he's missing load's of games by being a fanny!

I'd be amazed if he was still at Anfield next season

My view on sturridge has not changed much, I have never felt that he truly wanted to be here, said that when he was scoring and it was going well and people said its just his natural body language that makes him look that way ( i did wonder if that might be right) but pretty sure nobody can say otherwise now.

He came with alot of warnings (mostly Chelsea fans) saying heonlyplays when hefeels like it

I dont like to bash our own but 60 appearances since 2013 is taking the piss, although his 37goal return is why we're still pissing about with him I suppose

Wont last long under Klopp unless he sorts himself. Think he likes his posh seat in the stands too much

Think we need to sort it one way or another and hopefully as a new manager klopp will have permission to get rid if need be, bit worried that we havent signed a new striker in the window though.

Ings couldve really proved his worth this season but oh well

We have Firm doing a good job andBentkkers as a back up

This season will be up and down but it will come good. Not sure how long Origi is out for?

whatever happened to that apparently now bizarre idea of playing two strikers?

Sturridge's main injury had been misdiagnosed for 2 years (God only knows how!). Finally had corrective surgery in the summer, lad hasn't had a proper preseason in years and never had a chance to train without having pressure of coming back early.

I think Klopp is doing the right thing - no rush, no pressure. He's not given the media any indication of when he could be back or if there are any problems. Seems to me that he wants Sturridge to train and condition his body properly, without having a the pressures of a 'deadline'.

Having said that, there will come a time when people do lose patience - but for now, the major injuries have now been corrected and we will see if that plus the mini preseason will pay off.

Sounds great but also sounds like a club issued press release to cover that fact that he is a feckin waster who cant be arsed playing for us. , which is true, I am honestly not sure but he is probably worth taking the risk on.

Just pray Hodgson doesn't take him to the Euro's and ruin him in time for the new season.

Hopefully he gets say 10 games towards the end of the season (sub appearances) then a proper rest before a really good injury free pre-season ready for the new year <ok>

If that happens and he starts missing games at the start of next season then try get rid

Rodgers probably burst into the transfer committee break room with a knife to Markovic's neck and demanded they sign the dentist who fixed his teeth as head of medical services

i think if it was all bad blood and Klopps told him to **** off even though he is good to play we would be hearing sly social media jibes etc from him.

Hoping Jimmy's got this bang on and it's just being done the right way to get the guy playing games consistently for a change and if it doesn't work - we did everything we could but this isn't working out, you're broken.
