Leicester are unbeaten at homes since September when Arsenal beat them 5-2. in short while they've dropped points over Christmas they are hard to beat at home. (but then they only have lost twice all year)

LFC have been really inconsistent of late and this game comes hot on the heels of the FA cup 4th round which Leicester conveniently found themselves taking a rest for.

Betting:
Liverpool (19/10)
Draw (23/10)
Leicester (7/5)

Leicester clear favorites ofr this one. might get 2/1 on liverpool if you shop round... and have a mind to do so

Injuries:
http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php

Liverpool have the same 6 injuries. No word on sturrdige at all, don't even bother asking. another 1/2 weeks for coutinho, skertl and Origi

Leicester will be full strength is Schlupp returned form hamstring injury. they will be picking thier best team for this.

The team is prob very predictable.

I hope toure is dropped that's all.

After that I think the rest probably pick themselves... Sadly. ...

Coutinho might've back next weekend... so let hope for that eh

Interesting tactically, we press and play a high line, Leicester like teams to push up and will go direct and use Vardys pace. So do we play deeper or continue with the high line?

The only way to unsettle this lot is to press high and prevent easy ball over top. I don't think we can afford to sit off anyone.

I just hope toure doesn't play with sahko cos frankly sahko wants to run off up the pitch and toure can't run anywhere. Toure should be attacking high balls with sahko sweeping up behind. .. that never happens.

Get lovern beside sahko I think

Get flanagan in rb and Moreno lb

Lucas can and henderson most likely to be CMs so lallana firmino and milner will be up top.

I'd take the draw I reckon.

If you press high we'll probably catch you on the counter, best strategy would probably to play deeper, we won't know what to do if we cant slip Vardy through and we don't really fair well in games where we have most of the possession.

If you do play the high line though, it could be another 5-4 <ok>

Depends on what you call high press..

If our cbs are on the half way line while 5 of our players at least chase down your cbs sure.

But we can have a press without doing that we we've done our homework right

What I am not sure about is the Prior fixture.

were leicester players tired over christmas or did the LFC players negate the game plan and end up seeing off both mahrez and vardy?

Thats the question? these are leicesters clear main men.. If we can close those areas they do best in down (not man mark) then LFc have to front up agains thte rest and match the work rate

This team here has NO excuse (week off after cup game and extra time)

Mingolet
Flanagan Lovern Sahko Moerno
Can Lucas Henderson
Lallana Firmino Milner.

That team should at the very least be able to work hard.

How do you normally play away games?

We won't be as defensive as we were in our first game at yours - we will most likely be defending from the front and playing our high pressing game like we normally do.

Agree for the most part with you MITO..
However, for me Clyne for Flanno.. agree, Lovern for Toure..
Think if Hendo doesn't play, drop Brannagan in there, really like the looks of this kid, composed on the ball, good passer and most likely better than most at set pieces too!
Ibe has been ****e since he scored that goal in the EL.. No way he starts until he bucks up his ideas!
Can's another that needs to get out of his Funk otherwise this team will over run our midfield!

Sturridge.. well he can **** off.. think the guy is class but his lack of game time is now even pissing me off!
