Youve def made yourself look silly if thats what you mean by too far Thats called support there in that video Were yourfans last night singing we're going to Wembley while playing in the 4th round? Delluded, the lot of you! Anyway would love to stay and chat but Ive got a date with a soft play centre
Funniest is when he deletes your post, but can't resist having the last word so quotes you in his answer. The Tracey Beaker of 606.
Judging by your posts last night and this morning I'm assuming you were battered then and hungover now!
Call it what you like but it doesnt change the delusion of your fans. IF united fans claimed they were going to win the league after 26 barren years everytime they got a new manager or won a few games, then you could aim your gun barrels this way but thankfully we have had enough success over the same 26 year period. Context
Lol! http://www.skysports.com/football/n...niteds-confidence-is-back-says-louis-van-gaal Crying here, brilliant! Keep VG in!!!!! Laters
He really should keep his trap shut. He's in danger of making as big a fool of himself as Rodgers did.
When Moyes and VG were appointed you were all creaming yourselves! You are doingthe same over a manager that isnt evenyour manager!! So try again Trebs and stop being deluded Are you feeling okay? Dont knowhow you can say this stuff with a straight face tbh
Ah poor Donga. Keep blocking those ears and covering those eyes. Comparing our fans to yours? 26 years of midtable mediocrity for much of those while claiming countless times you're going to win the league... and your comeback is Swarbs when we were 5 pts off the top this season? Answer the question instead of playing semantics? Are your fans known for claiming you're going to win the league during the last 26 years? Simples.
Ah, we're changing the question? You couldn't find the 'Next year is our year' quote then? We know you tried...
I can see you've got no response yet again DR. Let me bring you back to the thread topic. Some of your fans (two in particular it seems) have taken umbrage at the reference to your fans being deluded in thinking you have ever had a team or manager who is capable of winning the league and that this has been the case for 26 years. The consensus is that Liverpool fans are well known for this. How hard is that to understand?
Quite a few posts to this effect earlier on in this thread. Just wondered if this is a sentiment shared by many? Seems a slightly ridiculous standpoint to me given the huge income from TV rights and merchandising at home and abroad that allows the top clubs to finance themselves and remain top clubs. If all of the non match going fans stopped supporting there teams there would be a nose dive in quality and finances surrounding the game.
Not changed anything, I've asked the same thing all along You're the one who's not answering. Here it is again... are you denying that your fans have claimed they're going to win the league countless times in 26 years? It's not rocket science mate. Try not to wriggle...
I get your point, but the point I was trying to make is that just because fans don't post on a forum, doesn't make them fair weather fans. This lot seem to think that way.
Must admit, at least you're not trying deflect from the original question, which was to find the quote about 'Next year/this year is our year' by referring to Heysel and Rio's FA ban like Chief did (for God knows what reason), but deflect you do. We're 'well known', on our board. for saying 'Next year is our year': that was the contention. So you've had over a day. You know and everyone else knows you've looked - where's that quote? Post # 14, btw.
When you think about the money involved, if some clubs played to empty stadiums they'd still earn enough to carry on playing. Having said that I find that going to a game gives you a much better understanding of your team and your players. You get a better perspective of the game and truly appreciate the quality of football which I think ppl become numb to when watching it on the telly. I'm certainly not a season ticket holder but I go to a few games a season so my opinion is if you follow the club and support them through thick and thin, watch them at every given opportunity when you can, then who has any right to take a pop at you.
When did I say your board? Go back and read my post that you originally quoted. In fact I've posted it below. I spoke about Liverpool fans and I specifically referenced 2 years ago. All my posts since have said the same. You seem to have gone off on one for no reason old chap...
