Thing about the Sterling cross was that, despite what they said in the commentary, it wasn't that hard, even in real time, to see it was out. Admittedly the lino was on the other side, but it's not even close to being in. I can't say I've spoken to one person today of whatever football persuasion (including a City fan) who didn't know straight away.

Sian Massey would have spotted it. what's happened to her?

Did the ball even go that far over the line. Im not convinced it was as clear cut as everyone says (remember its the whole ball over the line) and the speed of the game is so fast. It would have been nice for the toffees to have made it to the final for once and they were unfortunate with the deflection and the stering decision.

However you cant just say the whole matcg hinged on that 1 decision. City have had loads of decisions against then against everton which pellegrini pointed out

I didn't watch the game, nor have I seen highlights. I assume where not talking about the goal line here? Otherwise, the speed of the game is irrelevant which the technology available.

Sterling takes the ball over the bye-line and crosses in one quick move - seen by everybody in the ground and half the world on telly, but magically not by the officials.
Goal from the resultant cross.

Oh right. Oh well, look on the bright side, Everton fans already know how to be bitter about things :)

Sterling: “It’s a good feeling [to reach the final]. That’s what I’ve come to this football club for"

Someone should tell him the club he left to play in finals is in the final against him.

And that he could of played in a final with that team had he put some effort in to the semi-final before actually leaving

Clive Thomas ffs <doh>

It's like a bad dream that keeps re-occuring

Collina ......<grr>

....and now Atkinson The Sequel

If we'd have got to the final they'd have wheeled out Clattenburg - nailed on.

I'd have rather had a Merseyside final but we're all too used to Everton letting the sides down mate <ok>

Hahahahahaha!!!!! But seriously, would have loved a Merseyside final. Or Merseyside and North W ales, as it were. BTW, did any of the Toffees do a memorial thread for Ed 'Stewpot' Stewart ? That was 5% of their non-Merseyside/North Wales fanbase that died that day. :emoticon-0106-cryin

Edit: Can't wait for Amanda Holden to make that 10%

We're talking non-Merseyside. we have Dr Dre, Shrek and, er, Chris De Burgh. :emoticon-0138-think

But we did have Nelson Mandela!

Many many c listers have been paid by FSW like lebron james to wear merchandise.

Was it morgan freeman or who that was supposedly a red... some hollywood fella.

Hes still alive isn't he? Or are you suggesting he no longer supports us and is a glory hunter?
