If Klopp had been in charge, that night, he'd have had the entire squad hold hands and perform some line-dancing moves, in celebration at losing only 1-0.
It would explain what they're doing in training. They're certainly not working on defending set-pieces.
They had one in 1962 or something. Credit where it's due luv 4th a title challenge does not make. But at least the Power-Shift cup and 5th place trophy won't be loney not now you have a ghost title challenge to go with them
So, it's going to be £ity v 'Pool, in the League Cup Final, this year. Bad luck, Mousers. This could be your heaviest trouncing on Wembley soil, of all time. £ity will be the first decent side you've come against, in this competiion, won't it?
Why bad luck? We whipped them already this season with a depleted side, no reason we won't again. Plus we like the underdog tag, it's served us well in other finals, and as you've clearly given away the fact no one expects us to beat city it will be all the more sweet if we do, if we don't then it's to be expected, win win
If 'Pool do lose in the Final, do you expect Klipperty to get all the players to hold hands, at the end of the game, and accept the applause from tearful, emotionally charged Mousers dressed up in curly wigs? Not wumming, just curious.
i though i read "not bumming just curious" anyhoo, id expect klopp and the team to go and acknowledge the fans win or lose, it is the correct thing to do imo, not sure about the curly wigs mind, maybe a few klopp caps ;D
May be Klopp should get the players and, indeed, himself to dress up in the curly wigs? It would be a good way to pay tribute to the fans without, in any manner, shape or form, taking the piss out them.
you have got to come out of the 80s sometime haig we wear skinny jeans with tight fitting tshirts and have curly beards nowadays #getwiththetimesoldman the best way he can pay tribute is to win the thing. win or lose though i think it bodes well for klopp even getting to this final with this shower of ****, not to mention injuries, the lack of our top striker all season and the fact hes only been in the league a few months. that kind of enterance makes poch look a tad average in comparison
I think you'll find every word of my last post are all clear undeniable facts Spurlock, if you wish to argue any of them please feel free. I'm of course hoping by the time of the final we have most if not all our senior players back in the side, I'd rather that than as you say make any excuses. If we do manage to have a full strength side and city win fairly on the day I'll have no complaints whatsoever chap, someone has to lose after all. But you gotta be in it to win it ;p
I've got half a mind to get myself a secret alter ego too! One that is so cunningly disguised that nobody will ever guess it's me!
I've done the secret one a few times, my most fun alter ego was Den Zlatan I had a certain Gooner begging for mercy.
